Currently I’m collaborating as freelance designer with the Artist-Designer Vittorio Passaro in his inde-pendent studio based in Milan.I deal the development of the projects from the con-cept to the final product.The studio works mainly on furniture, objects design and exhibition design with a self-production philoso-phy deliberately inspired by a craft spirit.

“The Habitat” is the Rosenthal’s stand for “HandMa-de in Germany 2014” exhibition.The exhibition represent a selection of German de-signers and manufactories, from highly specialized craftsmen through to manufactories that have gra-dually grown into larger actors with a global visibility. The exhibition tour 2014-2016 is going to stop at va-rious places around the world including New York


Toronto - St. Petersburg - Breslau - Baku - Shanghai - Hong Kong - Taipeh - Tokio - Kiew - Miami - Boston -Istanbul - Chicago - Abu Dabi - Maskat - Dubai - Rome.

For this edition Rosenthal presents “Papyrus” a por-celain collection designed by Vittorio Passaro in 2012.

The stand is a synthesis between the production pro-cess and the exhibited products.“The Habitat” is not just a stand for showing the por-celain design pieces, but is a space where the visitors are fully involved. The walls are made with strips of

-cies that allows the visitors to glimpse the exhibition from outside.

From April to November 2012 I worked for Mariscal Design Studio in Barcelona (www.mariscal.com).The first 3 months as an intern, and then I continued the collaboration with the Studio as a Junior Product Designer. I participated in various projects touching different design field such as furniture and product design, in-terior design and furnishing of public spaces, design and mounting exhibitions, architectural interventions and art installations. Specifically I worked on 3D mo-deling and rendering, 2D drawings, drafting, presen-tations for clients, prototyping.

GLORIES INTERVENTION

Redesign one of the rest areas inside the shopping center Les Glories® in Barcelona. Retrain spaces to make them more enjoyable and comfortable for the customers. The intervention consists in a rest area definition distributed around a sculptural tree which is the principal element of this space.


The metal tree gives shade and identity to all of the area. The tree “grows” from a triangular shape gardener, around that are arranged bright color tables and chairs that contrasts with the color of the wooden platform.

In the end of the platform stands a dune covered with a synthetic fiber carpet that gives volume and rhythm to all of the space.The dune that can be scaled is designed as a space for play or entertainment for kids or just as a small hill for relaxing moments.

A collection of outdoor furniture designed for Von-dom®.The Sabinas collection, presented at the Salone del Mobile 2012 in Milan, it’s composed by a sofa, a chair and two tables of different sizes. The design is inspi-red by organic and fluid forms. The curves allude to the dunes and a female body shapes.

The project is a fence structure for defining the old factory Damm exterior space located in Calle Rosel-lon 515 in Barcelona.The 40 m fence is part of a renovation project that includes the architecture of the building, the restora-tion square pavement, the construction of two new checkpoints.

The enclosure is divided into three parts: the central daily use part and two sides parts used occaasio-nally for events or festivals. The central gate permits the inlet and outlet passage for cars and two smaller entrance for the walkway. The two side gates are are composed of a fixed part and by two openable parts used as side entrances.

The gate is a designed typographic image that repe-ats the name “Estrella Damm” and incorporates the star of the logo. The handwriting typographic letters composition gives an effect of disorder and depth to the gate. The letters are incorporated into three le-vels of height: 2.70 m on the sides and 1.60 m in the central part.

The project is an art installation for one of the Lon-don based Framestore office, a production and post-production video company.The big letters of the name “Framestore” have the same shape of the logo’s company, already designed by Mariscal Studio.

The installation is directly visible from the street through the big windows. The letters are built with an internal wood structure covered with cardboard.Each letter is painted with different brights and uni-

forms colors and then customized and decorated with the artistic touch of Javier Mariscal.The letters shape, bright colors and decorative ar-tistic touch give to the composition a friendly sense of playful.

Project MA Thesis “Co-Site” Temporary structures and services for collaborative urban communities.Studio Personal workClient -Year 2014

Co-Site is a service project that takes part of the re-development of Via Durando area in Bovisa a district in the northwest suburbs of Milan, where it is planned to build two residential buildings and a new public garden square. The Co-site aim is to establish links and relationships between the residents community of the neighborhood and the “City Users” who “live”

Bovisa temporarily during the day (students and pro-fessors of the Polytechnic, professionals, workers ...). The “meeting point” for these users then becomes the Co-site temporary structure placed inside the public green square, where the sharing of space and ser-vices has the function of activating new social rela-tions. The service design intervenes in the district by

creating synergies between the community and pro-moting the territory and his locals quality. Through participatory planning, and collaborative services, the residents community will manage the temporary structure and the related activities.

Project The Automatic PackagingStudio Personal workClient Ghelfi Ondulati spaYear 2010

A box for packaging and containing 6 bottles of wine. The project was realized during the workshop “Container of Ideas” for Ghelfi Ondulati S.p.a. a com-pany leader in the cardboard packaging. The idea is creating an american box that without additional items includes interior dividers for the bottles.

The external surfaces and the interior dividers betwe-en the bottles are obtained from a single sheet of cardboard.This is possible with several cuts and gluing points in the internal part of packaging.Production: reducing costs and timescales.

Reducing maximun size: the empty packaging when is folded occupies just the thickness of cardboard sheet. Total area: 0,4970 m^2. Graphic: designed and realized for the kind of wine (red wine).


Project Explode SofaStudio Personal workClient -Year 2013

The sofa is designed for living rooms of studios or small apartments and for the optimization of the domestic spaces. The living room is the convivial centre of the house, is a unique space to exchange experiences between family members and guests. Is a flexible and configurable sofa adaptable to the ne-eds of each family members and to their domestic activity.

The couch is composed by 3 modules separable: one central and two side modules. With a system of reclining parts the sofa is transfor-med into individual armchairs, chaise longues, single or double bed or game plan for children.There is also an integrated system of tables to use just when the users need.


Project BA Thesis “Beak Clean”Studio Personal workClient -Year 2010

Beak Clean is a tool for sanitation of removable den-tal appliances.Target: 5 -14 years old.Aim: make independent and funny the daily cleaning of dental appliances by the child.Double function: ultrasonic waves for cleansing of dental appliance and UV-C ray for its sterilization.

Product Design


One sphere contains the UV-C technology and the other one contains the ultrasonic technology. Activation: light pulse remembers and shows to the child wich is the sphere to use.Once placed in the transparent container with water and the dental appliances the sphere is activated by the eCoupled technology (wireless electricity).

Components:1_The base: support for the spheres and for the con-tainer; containing the electrical components.2_ Ultrasound sphere and UV-C sphere: contain and activate the two cleaning technologies.3_Plastic container: contains the dental appliance and the sphere during the cleaning.

re the furniture as they want.The product is combined with a service: the furniture is not bought by the students but only rented for the using period. With the creation of new compositions with the mo-dules, each user can add and share new types of furniture in the catalog.


Project Sphere Switch FamilyStudio Personal workClient -Year 2012

Is a switch family designed for kid’s bedrooms.It is composed by:_Switch-lamp: pushing the sphere to turn on/off the light. The sphere can 360° rotate inside the fixed part on the wall. A vertical rotation changes the light intensity, an orizontal rotation changes the color of the light. The child can create different atmospheres in his room. The switch becomes also a lamp once taken out from the fixed part.

_Socket: vertical rotation for using it. A light starts to pulse after a long using time. _Orientation light: vertical rotation to turn on/off and a orizontal rotation for directing the light._Power strip: is composed by three differents sockets, vertical rotation to active each single socket. After a long using time the socket starts to pulse and indica-tes to the child that too much energy is wasting.

a different space based on its creativity and its ne-eds (playing, studying, reading, drawing...). The aim is to create a stimulating and changeable environment through a physically interaction with the furniture for a complete freedom.

The system is composed by different magnetized mo-dules: _4 large blue containers modules;_8 small yellow containers modules;_2 moduls desk: changing the disposition of the two modules can be obtained one or two desk worksta-tions;_2 chair.

The scenario is inspired by the new trends of house-museums: open homes to transform the living space into an artistic experience.With the service, the user can choose an artist for his home and furniture. After the artistic intervention by the artist the owner opens his house to the public
