God has created us and given us everything that we have. Giving is our heartfelt response to the love of God for all that we have received.

An assured regular income from planned giving enables us to sustain the life of this unique and treasured place and continue the Cathedral’s life and ministry. We are immensely grateful for the faithful and generous giving of our congregation and longstanding supporters.

Our continuing commitment is to work together in renewing hope: to pray, to serve and to grow. In this we are dedicated to being active in our outreach to the community, including our ministry to young people, and the support of charitable work both locally and further afield.

The difference your support makes

If you are already part of our planned giving scheme for the Cathedral, we are hugely grateful. Thank you for the important contribution you make to the life and ministry of the Cathedral. This may be an opportunity for you to consider an increase in the level of your current giving.

If you are not part of the planned giving scheme, may we ask you to consider joining?

Your generosity will help us carry out our work of worship, ministry and mission.

What is the best way to give?

The planned giving scheme allows you to give the same amount each month or week. Giving by a regular payment through online banking or standing order means that you are saved the task of bringing your collection to services. It saves also on administration costs and helps both you and the Cathedral to budget. This also means you are able to continue supporting even when you are not able to attend. If you are able to Gift Aid your donations we would be very grateful - thank you. This will enable us to reclaim tax.

Our Purpose: Making a difference for God through exceptional outreach and worship

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also”, Luke 12:34

“Each one should give what they have decided in their heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver”, 2 Corinthians 9:7
