Human being tends to dream and give up on dreams. He or she is born as a blank page but while growing – many stories are written to shape a personality in a way it comes capable to make decisions by oneself. Then it starts what others call fight, ambitions, dreaming, hard working, career, future, happiness, success but also self-doubt, fear, failure, procrastination, giving in. Being a center of universe, we tend to sink into others’ expectations though sometimes they do not match our ones. Marion tried to avoid fullfilling others’ expectations, took her own road. She did not have enough passion to choose between photography and illustration and continue a beloved subject at university, dislexia was not very encouraging either. Marion at the moment is ‘flowing with the stream’. However, her strong sense of fashion appears in her every day outfits she is crazy about: extravagant shoes, fancy dresses, lovely hats and masks, and many other little things she posses. She never looks boring and always stands out from her friends. Marion does not hide that her passion for fashion might look a bit materialistic but at the same time – her own way to express herself, have a bit of fun every day, and finally – not to be bored and look boring, stand out from the crowd. It also helps her to keep a good mood and not overthink about future, concentrate on the present, which she feels, is not so ideal either: she just turned 30, feels like falling into midlife crisis, but she has got a lovely boyfriend she is happy to be with, looking for an appartment to live with him and move out from her parents’ house, got a job she enjoys. She feels she is back on her track.

“My taste of style has changed a lot throughout the years, depending on people I hang out with. Strangers would be afraid to approach me because of my intimidating outfits. And I used to be very shy though I am not any more. I just keep dressing up creatively.”

“I am still thinking to tattoo on my wrist “We Are the Wasted Youth” either “Reckless With Love and Fearless With Life”. Instead I sketched a tattoo for my leg.”

Marion could not believe we took all her shoes from the wardrobe and placed nicely in the lounge. we lost the number just before we reached 100. “And more in the garage. I like the ones with ‘a character’. The same with hats - have plenty of them but can not throw any away. Anytime I might pick one and create a new outfit for a day.”

When Marion talks about her brother, you could feel she is very proud of him, supports him for his efforts looking for a job after graduating the university. At the same time, she feels she should start thinking about her own path she is taking.

It is not like Marion does not think about her future seriously or about her life in general. She is doubtful and fearful, lost in her dreams what to choose and where to go, put her whole effort on. But now she tries to enjoy every day as it comes: “I am happy, I have a lovely boy with me, I am healthy and have a job and try to have some fun every day.”
