Giant Inflatable - Setup & Instructions

Inflation Steps:

1. Use precaution when lifting and moving your packaged giant inflatable. These products are large and can be very heavy (depending upon the model of the inflatable).

2. Select a sturdy and open area where the inflatable will be used. Be sure

there are no branches, over hangs, light poles, or any items that will be touching the inflatable (other than the ground). Also, be sure there are no sharp objects anywhere near the inflatable

3. Unpack all the pieces and take stock of everything that was in the

package.

4. Unroll the entire giant inflatable and unfold/unroll all the other items that come in the package (banner, ropes, cords, etc).

5. Position the unrolled inflatable in the desired final base position.

6. Close all vents. Vents will either be Velcro or Zipper (sometimes both).

7. If the inflatable is going to be put on a roof, we recommend filling the base

or foot compartments first with sand bags to ensure the inflatable will stay firmly attached to the ground.

8. Once all vents are closed, survey the surrounding area for how you will

harness/tie down the inflatable. Be sure to locate (secure and fixed) anchor points for where you will tie down the inflatable to. If on grass, use stakes as your anchor points.

9. Before inflating, run the ropes/cords through the metal D-rings affixed to

the giant inflatable. These D-rings are usually located on the side middle of the figures. If the inflatable will be put on a rooftop, we recommend that heavier duty ropes be used for securing the inflatable to the ground.

10. Once the ropes/cords are run through the metal D-rings, attach the air supply tube to the blower. To attach the air supply tube, first place the tube around the air spout of the blower. Then use a piece of the supplied rope, to tie around the blower spout, securing the air supply tube to the blower. The blower spout has a lip at its end, which is there to not allow the air supply tube to slip off. Giant inflatable blowers come in several different shapes and sizes, but all will work in this same approximate way.

11. Once, all vents are closed, sand bags are placed inside the base/feet,

ropes are through the D-rings, then use the help of at least 2 other people. Have 2 people hold the ropes while the third person turns on the blower. As the inflatable inflates, use the ropes to stabilize and position the figure into the desired place.

12. Once the figure is inflated, secure the inflatable in place by affixing the

ropes to the pre-established anchor points. We recommend adding additional sand bags or weight to the base/feet as well.

13. Be very conservative and plan for the worst-case scenario weather.

14. Only use the inflatable in good weather conditions. Immediately deflate

the giant inflatable if high winds arise or are anticipated. Do not leave the inflatable inflated without supervision. Do not leave the inflatable out in the rain. Do not leave the blower out over night, or exposed to the elements. Water will damage the blower.

Deflation Instructions: When taking down the item. Turn off and disconnect the blower. Let the item deflate. Unzipping and opening the vents will help to speed up this process. While it deflates, take out all the stakes and/or anchor points. Once the item is deflated, fold all the extremities towards the center. Then take one long side of the item a third of the way in. repeat with the other side. Now you should only be able to see the underside of the item. Next walk down each fold to squeeze any extra air out (this will make it easier to roll up) repeat this a few times. After, fold one side over the other so there is one single section. Begin rolling from the front to back, making the roll as tight and small as you possibly can. Once finished secure a rope around the roll. Care Instructions: Do NOT place the giant inflatable in any type of washing machine. Hand wash, using non-bleach simple soap and water. The giant inflatable is constructed with heavy-duty nylon based UV protectant material, however it will get dirty if you

place the product in a dirty environment. These products are built to last, however they do have a finite life span, strictly because they’re used out in the elements on a daily basis. Take care of your inflatable, keep it out of the harsh elements, take down during high winds, and keep it dry and clean. All of this will prolong the products lifespan.
