Emma Ryder BUrbPlan Consultant Planner Emma Ryder is a Consultant Planner with Hill Young Cooper Ltd, a public policy and resource management consultancy, based in Auckland and Wellington. Emma joined Hill Young Cooper in March 2017. Emma completed a Bachelor of Urban Planning in 2017 from the University of Auckland. During the course of her degree she completed papers in both transport and infrastructure. She received two first in class awards for second and third year studio papers and the Boffa Miskell Prize in Urban Planning. In her time at Hill Young Cooper, Emma has been involved in a range of transport infrastructure planning projects, including the Lincoln Road Corridor Improvements Notice of Requirement and the East-West Link proposal. This involved: Research and analysis of the proposed projects and the potential effects on the surrounding areas Review of submitters evidence, technical reports and other relevant information Preparation of maps used in presenting evidence. Other projects have included assisting with the review of evidence and information relating to urban development in Okura and Orewa, including analysis of the Auckland Unitary Plan provisions.
