Jikatidak ada MS bagi bahan/barangan yang berkenaan, spesifikasi jabatan yangdisediakan oleh Jawatankuasa Penyediaan Spesifikasi atau standard antarabangsa lainyang sesuai hendaklah digunakan.

Perkara (i) dSemua barangan/bahan binaan termasuk alat mekanikal/elektrikal hendaklahmenggunakan bahan/barangan buatan tempatan seperti mana yang ditetapkandalam Senarai Bahan-bahan Binaan Tempatan yang dikeluarkan oleh IKRAM QAServices Sdn Bhd atau Senarai Bahan/Barangan Tempatan yang dikeluarkan olehSIRIM QA Services Sdn Bhd atau mana-mana agensi/badan yang telahdiakreditasikan oleh Jabatan Standard Malaysia untuk menjalankan pengiktirafandan persijilan di mana berkenaan. Standards and compliance are the means for the Government to ensure safety & heath of Rakyat are protected, increase national competitiveness through quality

products and services, generate wealth through increase market access and protection of the environment to promote sustainable green growth

The knowledge on national quality infrastructure, how it works and who are the

key players is key to all ministries in ensuring adherence to Article 6(1) c & d of PK 1

Standards Malaysia has avenues to support the adherence to Article 6 (1) c & d and open to any other suggestion for improvement
