The goals of the 2019 GFOA and IGFOA conferences are to:
• Review key issues and ideas presented during the 2019 GFOA Conference and discuss applicability to the insular governments;
• Update IGFOA members on the progress of each insular government’s single audit;• Reviewfinanceofficeperformancemeasuresanddiscusstechniquesforprocessimprovement;• Review forthcoming GASB standards applicable to IGFOA members and discuss preparatory actions that
can be undertaken by insular governments; and• Buildgovernment-specificactionplanstoimplementGFOAbestpractices,addresssingleaudit
improvement,enhancefinanceofficeprocessesandmeasures,andprepareforimplementationofforthcoming GASB standards.
