Dr. Jane Luo has over 30 years of experience in molecular biology and biochemistry. She earned her Ph.D in Biochemistry from the City University of New York; obtained postdoctoral training at Weill Cornell Medical College and at Harvard Medical School. After working as an Assistant Adjunct Professor at University of California, Irvine for a few years, she joined Beckman Coulter, Inc. in 2002 as a senior development scientist for the CEQ product line. In 2014, Dr. Luo moved to Sciex as a staff applications scientist, supporting CE products.
Dr. Handy Yowanto is currently a senior product manager responsible for Sciex GeXP genetic analysis system, PA800Plus Biopharma CE and MDQPlus industrial CE product lines. He has over 22 years of genomics development & product management experience and was involved in launching several new products for both genomic research and diagnostic applications. Prior to joining Sciex, he was a scientific marketing and product manager for Beckman Coulter Life Sciences managing the ArrayPlex automation, genetic analysis and particle characterization products. Previously, he was a biopolymer R&D manager at Motorola Life Sciences developing organometallic labeled DNA for the eSensor electronic DNA detection platform.
