The Prescription for Caring program helps stop the cycle of ill health that arises due to the gap between the cost of medication and what individuals can afford to pay. WellSpan Health collaborates with other health providers and community members through the Healthy Community Network to improve healthcare access for uninsured and underinsured individuals. Prescription for Caring is one of the Network’s programs. Individuals must meet eligibility requirements based on specific financial criteria.
