Field-centric weather information is integrated into FarmCommand® where you can find current weather conditions and other information.

Use the screen menu to navigate through the different options available for viewing your weather information.

Click a weather station to see more information such as forecast and history.

How to Navigate Weather

View Field FilesLists the most recent observations from selected weather stations. Should the weather station be offline for any reason, an interpolated value is provided. This is indicated by a red asterisk (*).NOTE: The first favorite station in the row displays in Dashboard.

ForecastDetails a 48-hour hourly “hyper-local” weather forecast for every weather station, as well as a daily forecast for the next 10 days.

HistoricalDisplays daily summaries for the past 10 days. This section shows 24-hour maximum, minimum, and average temperature, maximum wind speed along with daily rainfall.

Summaries are calculated every 24 hours, usually after midnight CT in North America, but can be extended to display longer periods of time.

MapDetails the locations of all weather stations and allows you to filter and show your favorite stations or add more stations for your analysis.

RadarLoads a panel for selecting available radars scans for the area of your assets. Once selected, the radar data loads and displays over time on the map. A legend loads on the panel for interpreting the colour variations of the scan.

ListviewDetails a complete list of all weather stations within FarmCommand®. Clicking the ID or Name opens a panel which details more information from the station.

NOTE: Click Settings ( ) in the page menu to change the weather units (Metric or Imperial), map options (load fields and wind direction) and grower/season.

While in Weather, click Maps in the top toolbar. The map displays showing the weather stations.

Use the toolbar to manage your view of the stations.

Show/Hide all weather stations in the network.

Clears filters that were applied in the Listview.

Displays only your favorite weather stations while hiding all others.

Weather stations appear on the map as circles with a Map Marker Value.

1. To change the displayed value is, click Settings ( ).

2. The Weather Settings panel displays.

3. In Map Marker Values, select your preference from the drop-down list which includes: Temperature, Wind, Rain (day), Relative Humidity (%) andDefault Marker.

4. Uncheck Load Fields if you don’t want field borders to be visible in the Weather map.

5. Check Wind Direction to add a pointer to the circle indicating the wind direction at that station.

6. Make changes to Units displayed.

NOTE: Changes to Units in Weather Settings applies to all weather information in FarmCommand.

How to Set Favorite Weather Stations

Your favorite weather stations will be automatically displayed in the Forecast and Historical Weather tabs as well as on the Dashboard.

Use the Weather Map or Listview to find and favorite your desired stations.

When you select a station, an additional menu will open for that station where you can click Add Favorite ( ) at the bottom of the menu.

The Favorite star turns orange ( ) indicating that the station has been bookmarked as a favorite. A station may be removed the Favorite list by clicking the yellow star.

Click Dashboard ( ) to make set the station your home station. The icon changes to orange. It now displays as the main station on your Dashboard.
