n  Reno CyberKnife is part of the Saint Mary’s Cancer Center, nationally accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer as well as the National Accreditation Program for Breast Cancer.

n  Dr. Rivera is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology in Radiation Oncology. During his training and early years of practice, he developed special interests in brachytherapy and stereotactic radiosurgery.

n  Among his accomplishments as Medical Director are the establishment of cancer clinical trials, implementation of intensity modulated radiation therapy, high does rate brachytherapy, and now stereotactic cranial and body radiosurgey with the CyberKnife® technology.

n  Dr. Legarza is board-certified in Radiation Oncology and an active member of the Cancer Committee at Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center. She is skilled in intensity-modulated radiation therapy techniques and high-dose-rate brachytherapy.

n  Dr. Legarza’s memberships include American College of Radiation Oncology, American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, and CyberKnife Society.
