DESCRIPTION
Kush Mahan was a member of the Bates College Squash team during his undergraduate career, from 2006-2010. He was named the MVP of the team his senior year and also received recognition as the Male Athlete of the Year for Bates College in 2010. Kush has played squash since a very young age, growing up playing on the Zimbabwean Junior National Team, earning the first-place ranking for a number of age groups due to his impressive skills. While attending Bates College, Kush Mahan studied psychology, and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. He has been highly involved in volunteer programs and non-profit organizations throughout his college career, focusing on organizations which utilized squash to help children, or that focused on mental healthcare. Kush has recently co-founded a Non-Profit called MindBright Foundation, which aims to give underprivileged individuals in New York City the mental healthcare they need, but cannot necessarily afford. Kush Mahan is currently studying at Columbia University to earn his Master's degree in Public/Global health. He still plays squash and will most likely work in non-profits upon his graduation.TRANSCRIPT
