Step 8: Pay Your TuitionFrequently Asked Questions
• When is payment due? Check your my.bergen.edu portal account to see your specific date or consult the registration calendar at www.bergen.edu/bursar under payment deadlines.
• What happens if I don’t pay by the deadline? Your courses will be dropped for non-payment.
• What happens if my courses are dropped? You can try to reregister for your courses, however, all classes have a cap on the number of seats available and you may have lost your seat.
• Can deadlines be extended? No, but you can enroll in a payment plan to lessen the amount of money you owe up front.
• Should I wait to register for classes so I don’t have to pay early? Early registration and payment will secure your schedule. Remember, the longer you wait to register, the more likely it is that classes you need may be full.
• What is next after I pay my bill? If you haven’t already, pick up your Bergen Student ID card and parking decal at Public Safety.
