Finance and administrationFinance and program support: $875,389 | 10% of Presby terians Sharing

Promotion and fundraising: $175,832 | 2% of Presby terians Sharing

In addition to providing the overall financial and administrative support of the national office, the PCCadministers almost $184 million on behalf of congregations, theological colleges and special funds whichsupport the ministry of the church. This includes congregational support, innovative ministries, benevolenceand much more. The PCC’s consolidated fund serves over 100 congregations, providing professionalmanagement of their long-term funds. Presbyterians Sharing’s support of Presbyterian World Service &Development and Women’s Mission Society helps keep their financial and administrative costs low.

Equipping and supporting congregations$3,491,874 | 40% of Presby terians Sharing

Presbyterians Sharing helps create new ministries, revive struggling ministries andencourage church growth. Together, we equip congregations for Christian education,worship, evangelism, stewardship, communications, youth ministry, and justicework. Mission trips encourage and support mission partners. Grants to synods andpresbyteries support creative initiatives for ministry and mission across Canada. The PCC also advises congregations on management and leadership.

International mission and ministry$1,228,596 | 14% of Presby terians Sharing

The Presbyterian Church in Canada works with international mission partners to sharethe good news of the gospel around the world. Mission staff, short term volunteersand program grants support and accompany partners. Together we facilitateleadership development, Bible translation, Christian education, theological educationand evangelism. The PCC supports relief and development work through PresbyterianWorld Service & Development, over and above gifts to Presbyterians Sharing.

Leadership development $1,370,928 | 15% of Presby terians Sharing

Events like Canada Youth and Stewards By Design bring people together and buildleadership skills. Three theological colleges – Knox College in Toronto, PresbyterianCollege in Montreal and Vancouver School of Theology and St. Andrew’s Hall —equip ministers and lay leaders to serve our congregations. Together we supportnew clergy and help ministry candidates discern their calling.

Church governance & ecumenical relations$674,750 | 8% of Presby terians Sharing

Presbyterians Sharing funds the annual General Assembly, where representative elders and ministers make decisions,set priorities and examine matters of doctrine, worship, discipleship and governance. It also facilitates ecumenicaland interfaith collaboration on issues like peace, justice and human rights, through partners like the World Council ofChurches and the World Association of Reformed Churches.

4 Justice$283,298 | 3% of Presby terians Sharing

Presbyterians work together to respond to the biblical call to do justice, lovekindness and walk humbly with God. Together with our ecumenical partners,we advocate for environmental care, peace and human rights. We accompanylow-income neighbours as they seek dignity and basic needs. We walk withIndigenous people on a journey toward healing and reconciliation.

Mission and ministry in Canada$672,584 | 8% of Presby terians Sharing

Through Presbyterians Sharing, we help inner city, rural, refugee and Indigenousministries bring hope and transformation to the lives of individuals andcommunities. The ministers, directors and representatives of our nine Indigenousministries meet for mutual support, education, renewal, and sharing.
