Class Location

February-April 2011

“Get Connected” Classes will be held at MPL’s Main Library, 601 N. Main St., McAllen, February 7— April 30, 2011.

The series includes four classes: Computer Basics, Internet Basics, Email Basics, and Resume Basics. A person is eligible to register once for each class for a total of four sessions. Classes will run for approximately one and a half hours and are open to adults, 18 years and older. Registration is required and must be done in person at the 1st floor reference desk of the Main Library. See calendar at right for registration dates.

Class Requirements

Computer Basics: No experience required.

Computación Básica: No se requiere experiencia.

Internet Basics: Completion of Computer Basics at the Main Library, or mastery of mouse-handling and keyboarding.

Email Basics: Completion of Internet Basics at the Main Library, or Internet experience.

Resume Basics: Completion of Internet Basics at the Main Library, or Internet experience. Must have an email address before class.
