•Course content must be based on the BABOK® Knowledge Areas or Underlying Fundamentals (e.g. Leadership, communication courses qualify, BUT testing courses, project management courses or programming courses do not qualify)

5. References• One current contact.
� All references must have known the applicant for at least 6mths
� A career manager is defined by IIBA as the person who is responsible for providing and preparing the applicant’s annual
performance review.
� Project managers cannot be references unless they are also the applicant’s career manager. The reference form must clearly indicate they fill both roles or the reference will not qualify.
� Only two references will be assessed during the application assessment process.

• 150 multiple choice questions with four possible answers to select from.
• Some questions are based on
• "comprehension" (e.g., definition, recall, etc.)
• "situational analysis" (e.g., given a scenario, which is the best course of action) where the applicant must do a bit of analysis to arrive at the answer.

� Receive approval and admission letter (i.e., Notice to Schedule Examination)
• includes a User ID and Password to register online for the test centre and test date of their choice
• Exam Centres are in Johannesburg and Cape Town.

• Receive, almost immediately, a confirmation email from Prometric
• This email is the applicant’s admission letter and includes the exam logist ics
• Cancellat ion fee of $50 USD payable if less than 29 days to exam date
• Forfeit exam fee if cancel within 5 days, or no show at Prometric CBT off ices ($325/$450)
