Obstacles and Issues German Americans are currently facing
• - In our textbook it states “White people have difficulty accepting they have a race and therefore are threatened by groups who have no such difficulties”. Personally speaking I would say this statement is very true because I feel like some of the oppressed groups, if not all, all have awareness on their race and culture.

• I think a major problem with white people and the problems they face on others is because of their denial. With this denial causes a domino effect upon other oppressed groups and meanwhile lets the “white man” live free.
• -One of the main obstacles German Americans face today is not knowing their culture. With that they don’t understand themselves and how they affect society and are therefore oblivious to other people around them.
