1.0 Introduction

At the request of Harold Cheley of DST Consulting Engineers, a reconnaissance scale geological survey was carried out over the Pagnutti Road Property in Dill Township to map out the geological units and to evaluate the economic potential of the property. In addition, shallow test pits were blasted and sampled at selected sites to provide test material. The work was done during the period October 25 to December 15, 2004.

2.0 Location and Access

The property is located within the City of Greater Sudbury and lies approximately 15 kilometres south-east of the main downtown core. The claims are shown on the attached geological map.The claims are readily accessible from Highway 69 which passes within 100 metres of Post #3 of Claim 3016187. The eastern part of Claim 3016188 is cut by an all weather road and the other parts of the property can be reached via bush trails and dirt roads. Major creeks and sheer cliffs along with hilly terrain limit access to certain parts of the property.

3.0 Property

The property consists of the following three unpatented mining claims: 3016181, 3016187,3016188.

4.0 Work Program

The work consisted of:

1) Geological mapping of all the property at a reconnaissance scale with a mobile OPS unit for location control.

2) Select five(5) sample sites.3) Drill holes at each site in preparation for blasting.4) Blast a shallow pit at each location.5) Sample each site and submit for testing.6) Prepare and submit geological report.

The following personnel participated in the work:

Jorma J. Hannila - geologist(mapping, drilling, sampling and report writing) Peter Bull OLS7P.Eng.(supervision, drilling,sampling) Bob Hanson - technician(GPS, drilling,sampling) Ray Jambaksh- P.Eng.(blasting)

Page 4: Geological Report Pagnutti Road Property Dill Township - Sudbury, Ontario · 2017-01-17 · Hannila's geological report entitled, ^Geological Report, Pagnutti Road Property, Dill

The author of this report personally supervised or participated in all facets of the work program.

5.0 General Geology

The property is located within the Grenville Province of the Canadian Shield and hosts migmatitic gneisses of Middle Precambrian age along with mafic intrusive rocks of late Precambrian age. There are no known metallic deposits associated with these rocks.

6.0 Property Geology

The claims are underlain by two major geological units - gneisses and mafic intrusives.

The gneisses appear as three northeast trending bands separated by the mafic intrusives. The composition of the gneisses is highly variable as they are the metamorphic equivalents of fine to medium grained clastic sedimentary rocks but biotitic gneisses do dominate. No attempt was made to map out the different gneiss units as this would have required considerably more time which was not within the scope of this work Locally the gneisses can be migmatitic and pegmatitic veins or pods commonly cut the gneissic fabric. The gneisses are highly folded, contorted and exhibit a dominant northeasterly trend with a general dip to the southeast. The gneisses are non-magnetic and no sulphide mineralization was noted.

The mafic intrusives are sub-divided into 1) a gneissic metagabbro occurring on the west side of the property and 2) a probable layered unit comprised principally of gneissic diorite and gabbro located on the east side of the claims. The mafic intrusives form prominent ridges on the property. It is believed that the mafic units intruded along northeast trending regional faults which now form prominent cliffs and creek systems.

The metagabbro is dark grey to black in color, fine to medium grained and shows a strong gneissic fabric with local more massive sections. The unit is not magnetic and no sulphide mineralization was noted. The east contact with the gneiss is sharp locally and it conforms with the general dip and strike of the gneiss. There are several occasions of granitic inclusions within the metagabbro thereby confirming the intrusive nature of this unit. The west contact of the metagabbro is not as well defined and is largely covered by overburden. The northern area shows considerable bleaching and alteration due to a large pegmatitic unit located to the northwest of the claims.

The eastern, probable, layered unit is similar to the metagabbro but it shows more variation in composition suggesting in situ differentiation to produce the layering. The dominant member is a black to grey, mafic , fine to medium grained gabbro which shows a strong gneissic fabric. Diorite and amphibolite sections were also noted but again the scope of the work did not warrant the detailing of smaller units. The majority of the contact to the gneisses is covered by overburden. This unit is non-magnetic and no sulphides were noted.

Page 5: Geological Report Pagnutti Road Property Dill Township - Sudbury, Ontario · 2017-01-17 · Hannila's geological report entitled, ^Geological Report, Pagnutti Road Property, Dill

All of the above noted units have been cut by later barren quartz veins.

Sample Descriptions

Sample #1 - massive to gneissic , weakly silicified, dark grey to black metagabbro

Sample #2 - same as above

Sample #3 - medium to coarse grained hornblende/biotite granitic gneiss. Quartz and pegmatitic orthoclase veins.

Sample #4 fine to medium grained, gneissic metagabbro with orthoclase veining and alteration.

Sample #5 — medium to coarse grained, gneissic mafic gabbro.

Note - all descriptions of the samples plus the units are based on visual examinations. No thin section work has been done.

7.0 Conclusions

1) The property is underlain by rocks which show no encouragement for metallic mineral deposits and no sulphide mineralization was noted.

2) The rock units mapped on the property have untested potential for crushed stone or aggregate production and to evaluate this potential two samples have been submitted for test work.

3) Further work is contingent on the results of the test work. With positive results, further sampling and testing along with more detailed mapping should be considered.

Nature of Rock

The rock occurs in northeast trending bands and includes variable gneiss, gneissic metagabbro, and diorite/gabbro-gneissic as determined from the geological survey by J.J.Hannila, P.GEO. A copy of J. Hannila's geological report entitled, ^Geological Report, Pagnutti Road Property, Dill Township-Sudbury, Ontario' and dated January 10, 2005, is attached to and forms a part of this report of assessment work.

Description of Geological Work

Field traverses were run along the property lines and throughout the property. The location of the line of traverses is shown on the drawing attached to and forming a part of the geological report prepared by J. Hannila.

Type of Equipment Used

A Trimble ProXRS satellite receiver was used to log the location of each line of traverse along the boundary of the property and within the mining claims. The logged data was subsequently post-processed with Bull Surveying base data to provide positional data to a typical accuracy of 80 cm horizontal.

Co-ordinate System

Northing and easting co-ordinates are 1984 World Geodetic System (WGS- 84) Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM). Elevations are referred to mean sea level.

Date of Work/Operators

The geological work occurred on October 25 and 26, November 8 and 9, 2004. All of the geological work was conducted under the direct supervision of J.Hannila. J.Hannila was accompanied by Robert Hanson on each of these 4 days. R. Hanson provided the real time navigation to ensure the traverse lines were along and within mining claims.

Results of Test Data

The asphalt aggregate test data results are as described on the attached reports prepared by Trow Consulting Engineers, Sudbury, dated January 17, 2005 and issued by Paul Redmond.

Description of Rock Sampling Work

Samples were taken by shallow rock drilling in 5 separate locations situate within the mining claims. At each of five locations, four l 5/8" diameter holes making a 2' square shape were drilled into exposed rock to a depth of 3'. Samples of freshly exposed rock varying in sizes and between l and 10 Ib. were collected and placed in sample bags. A geographic location for each sample was logged with the satellite receiver at the time the holes were drilled. The larger size rock samples were subsequently broken up with a sledge hammer to a size of 4" or less. The reduction in sample size was done in accordance with Trow Consulting Engineers requirements for their jaw crusher.

Type of Equipment Used

A Punjar rock drill and drill bits were rented from Echo Rentals situate on Kelly Lake Road in Sudbury. One 3 foot bit became jammed deep in a drill hole and the drill bit was subsequently destroyed with blasting.

Date of Work/Operators

Drilling commenced on December 8 and was completed on December 9, 2004. The drill was operated by Peter Bull and Robert Hanson on December 8, 2004 and only by Robert Hanson on December 9, 2004. Blasting and collection of rock samples commenced on December 14, 2004 and was completed on December 15, 2004. Ray Jambakhsh, DST Consulting Engineers Inc., provided the explosives and field expertise to blast the drill holes. Jorma Hannila, Project Geologist, was present on both December 14 and 15, 2004 to examine and supervise the collection^of rock samples. The rock samples were broken into December 20, 2004 by Peter Bull and R. Hanson.

Hot Mix Aggregate Physical Property Test Results Proposed Quarry Development

Further to your request, Trow Associates Inc. has completed the physical property testing on the two samples of rock (Samples \A & B and Sample 5A 8c B), as delivered to our laboratory on December 20, 2004.

The bedrock fragments were crushed to 19 mm using our laboratory jaw crusher. Once crushed the coarse aggregate was split into representative samples for physical property testing in accordance with the Ministry of Transportation guidelines for hot mix material.

Based on the MTO guidelines the coarse aggregate meets all the physical property tests with exception to gradation for hot mix and Superpave coarse aggregate. The gradation of the crushed rock was found to be outside the gradation tolerances. Additional blending and screening of the material would be required to meet the gradation tolerances during the crushing operations. The results of the laboratory testing are summarized on the test data sheets for Asphalt coarse aggregate, enclosed.

The laboratory test results for the Silica Content on Samples l and 5 are not included in this report but will be forwarded as soon as they become available.

Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact the undersigned at this office.

Yours truly,
