Mormon Rocks

The rock was formed from the coming together of the San Bernardino and The San Gabriel Mountains because the San Andreas Fault’s tectonics are shifting CA.

This is a guard tower in Manzanar. Manzanar was a Japanese camp that held all the Japanese here during WW2.

The tufa is an underwater salt creation and it is above water because the water level has gone down exposing the tufa.

The Lake was created by a giant glacier that melted.

The stream is hot because it is right under a fault and the fault heats up and down with the earth’s crust.
