Introduction• Our family weren’t very close to our relatives in

our father side because of some family problem, however, knowing my Dad I can find a lot of leadership traits that I believe has been handed down to me and my brothers.

• We were usually exposed to our relatives in our mother side.

Mother SideDuring my mother’s younger years, her family didn’t really live comfortably as there were times that my grandparents needed to rely on their siblings to take care of my mother and her brothers and sisters due to financial difficulty. Many of my grandparents’ siblings were willing to help, which could probably explain the closeness of our family to each other. The Solimans are considered to be hard working people, and sometimes being called workaholic people, which is sometimes an advantage and at the same time a disadvantage.

o Maximino Soliman• Was an Entrepreneur. His main business was his insurance

company, but as years went by, he was able to open up several kind of businesses, one of which is an auto shop because of his love of cars, all of them lost when he died in the later part of 1980’s.

o She is a leader, the way I see her, as being respected by everyone because of her hard work and love of the business, which I think is an effective tool.

Father Side• Antonio Paroli

o The most hard working person I know. o He works 12 hours a day everyday. He believes that success is the fruit of hard work.o He is the most simplest person I know. He doesn’t really think of the brand of his

things, he has simple clothes, drives a simple car, and just recently started using a smart phone, because we bought him one when his old phone broke down after almost 5 years.

o He believes that living a simple life is the key to living a happy life. His only vices are listening to 60’s music through a radio and watching inside the cinema. I remember one Christmas where he saw the Sale in the mall. He could buy almost anything inside a mall but what he bought was a radio on Sale which was around P900, I could see how happy he was with that radio.

o He was able to finish CPA by being a working student. He used to work in fast food restaurants back then. There were times that the Chinese owner wouldn’t have anything to pay him, so the owner will just pay him “Pancit”. He had so many challenges during his teen years, from family problems to his studies.

• John Pius Parolio The youngest among the 4 brothers.o He is also currently taking up Optometryo He is an active student leader in his college in CEUo An independent person because he is surviving life in Manila by his own.

My Siblings- I believe that most of us inherited the hot head of everybody in the mother side. But according to my Dad, I am the least to inherit that trait.- Hard working has been one of our attributes. We are always reminded that the only thing our parents can give us is education. And they were able to provide that to us because of hard work, especially that they started from the bottom.- The close family trait is one of the traits I am proud

of. I could still see myself telling my children the importance of a complete family. And to see myself still having gatherings with my siblings through the years to come.
