Howden thomassen compressors (Htc) has concentrated on designing and manufacturing reciprocating compressors for more than 100 years. the research and development in this field has continued and progressed over the years. Modern reciprocating compressors are equipped with many monitoring and protection devices and often with automatic controls. internal critical connections are realized with hydraulic tools. condition Monitoring systems are used frequently to evaluate the machine during operation. the latest Howden thomassen compressors innovations are the designed Free Floating Piston, the analogue controlled hydraulic clearance pocket, the condition monitoring system and the Howden thomassen compressors maintenance philosophy. the compressor itself is constructed within close tolerances. the reciprocating compressor is in many processes an essential machine.

in order to be able to evaluate possible problems in an early stage during installation, start-up or operation, the user should have a thorough understanding of compressor behaviour and of control and protection systems. also the phenomena of liquid formation and compressor behaviour at changing process conditions should be fully understood. therefore proper understanding of how to operate and maintain the unit are essential for trouble free performance.
Howden thomassen compressors india offers a course on Reciprocating Compressors in which principles, construction, operation, control, condition monitoring and maintenance are explained.
the course is complete in itself. the attached programme(s) provides detailed information regarding the course content, dates, locations and prices.
iNSTRuCTORS
the course is conducted by an english as well as dutch-speaking instructor of the Howden thomassen compressors training department. they are full time professionals with long-standing experience in compressor design, operation, control and maintenance of reciprocating machinery.
COuRSE MATERiAlS
each trainee will receive a course instruction and reference manual (over 400 pages) in english, covering all subjects of the training course. the manual also contains reference material for further personal studies. at conclusion of the course, each participant will receive a digital copy of all course documents and a course certificate.
COuRSE METHODS
classroom lectures will be supported by modern presentation tools. on the job issues can be addressed to during the course. visits to the assembly are part of the course.
ENROlMENT AND COuRSE iNfORMATiON
if you wish to enrol then please complete the registration form and send it by regular mail, fax, email or by internet to our office at least twenty (20) days prior to the course start date.
applications will be handled in the order in which they are received. we will send you a confirmation when the order is received. (date on confirmation email is leading).

CANCEllATiON
cancellation up to three weeks prior to the course commencement date is possible. after this date 30% of the total training fee will be charged to compensate the preparation costs. in case of no show, the full course fee must be paid.

Monday until Friday: 09:00 -17:00 h. lunch: 12:30 -13:30 h.
coffee/thee, refreshments and lunch is included in the course fee and will be provided by Howden thomassen compressors in india.
it is the sole responsibility of the participant to make travel and accommodation arrangements. as part of our letter of confirmation we will send a list of hotels close to rheden as well a travel description to the training location.
