The power supplies, type IM82-2414, are designed to power direct current devices,especially switching and monitoring devices of the TURCK series interface modul,multimodul and multisafe, as well as light barriers and sensors. The power supplyprovides an output voltage of 24 VDC and an output current of 1.4 A. The cyclicoverload protection is activated if the current is higher than 1.6 A. The deviceprovides safety extra-low voltage (SELV) according t EN 60950, protection class II.The device is approved by UL and CSA.

If the front panel LED illuminates green, the connected consumers are provided withpower. The "power good" relay is energized of the output voltage is higher than 21V. If the voltage drops below this value, the relay is de-energized and the LEDilluminates red.

The AC voltage inputs may only be used alternatively and not for prime powerdistribution. During operation the removable terminal blocks must be plugged in.When installing the device, please ensure that heat can dissipate easily.
