Create easy access to T-Codes (Favorites) When using a specific T-Code, you can add the T-Code to your Favorites to allow for easy future

access.

If Favorites column is not visible, click on the Star on the top left. A Favorites bar on the left hand side of the window would appear. To add the T-Code to your Favorites click on the star with the plus sign.

A small window would pop up asking for you to add to Favorites. You can rename the T-Code

shortcut to your liking. Next, verify if the T-Code is correct and click OK.

T-Code should show up on your Favorites bar.

Repeat for all other T-Codes that you would like to create a shortcut to.

How to find the part number? Use T-Code MM03.

Click the box to input a material number, then click on the right side of the input box.

A new window will pop up (Material Number (1)). Verify that “Material Number/Material Description” tab is selected.

Search by inputting the Model number or part of the part description in “Material Description”. To search, use asterisks to help denote where in the description to search. Input an asterisk before the word to allow any string of text before the word being search. Input an asterisk after the word to allow for any string of text after the word being search.

For example, if searching for a material that always has the word “Grease” at the very end, input “*grease”.

If searching for a material that always has the word “Grease” as the first word, input “grease*” as the search criteria.

However, if it does not matter where the word “Grease” is located in the string text, then search by inputting “*grease*” as the search criteria.

After inputting the search criteria hit enter or click on the check mark on the bottom right hand corner of the pop up window. A variety of “Material Description” and “Material (number)” that match your search criteria would be listed.

How to search for Material Master of a part? Use T-Code MM03.

Input Material Number (Part Number) into the box. Next click the check mark or hit enter.

A “Select View(s)” window would pop up. Select all by clicking . All views should be highlighted then click the check or hit enter.

Next, an “Organization Levels” window would pop up. Here you are required to input Plant number (eg. 1000, 2000, 1099, etc). Then click the check or hit enter.

You can navigate through the Material Masters by select the tabs (Basic Data 1, Basic Data 2,

Classification, MRP1, etc).

How to check for Shop Order Information? Use T-Code CO03.

Input Shop Order number into box for “Order”. Click the check mark or hit enter.

Navigate through the shop order information by selecting each tab (General, Assignment, Goods

Receipt, etc).

How to check for batches of material used for a shop order? Method 1

Use T-Code CO03. o Input the Shop Order number and hit enter. o Click “Menu” on the left hand corner. Then “Goto” and click “Documented Goods o

Movements”.

Look for the material that was used for the shop order and locate look at the batch column ofor the batch number for that material.

Method 2 Use T-Code MB56. o Input the part number for “Material Number”, the Plant number for “Plant”, and the Shop o

Order or Lot Number for “Batch”. For “Type of Expansion”, select Top-Down Analysis. Then click to Start Analysis.

Click the down arrow next to the Lot Number. Search for the Component that was used and othe corresponding batch or batches.

How to find MIs and QIs applicable to a part number? Use T-Code ZRHT. (ZRHT displays the DHR sign off sheet for the part number.)

Input Material (P/N) and Plant into respective boxes, Group Counter number can be changed;

however “1” is inputted as a default. Then click .

A pop up window “Print:” would be displayed. Click “Print Preview” at the bottom right hand corner of the pop up window.

The DHR Sign off sheet will be displayed. If there are multiple pages, use the up and down arrow

buttons to switch pages. Search for the step that you are looking for and the applicable MI/QI number will be displayed.

How to find allocated hours for each operation (Router Hours)? Use T-Code CA51.

Input “N” for “Task List Type”. Input the part number for “Material” and the Plant number for “Plant for Material”. Then click .

Find the applicable Router Group Count.

Each operation will have the allocated “Setup”, “Machine”, and “Labor” hours listed.

How to display Bill of Material (BOM)? Use T-Code CS03.

Input the part number for “Material” and the Plant number for “Plant”. For “BOM Usage”, input “1” for Production Usage BOM or “2” for Engineering Usage BOM. Then click the green check.

A list of all material used to build this Part will be displayed.

How to display Multilevel BOM? Use T-Code CS11 or CS12.

Input the part number for “Material”, the Plant number for “Plant” and “BEST” for “BOM Application”. “Alternative BOM” can be left blank however you can include it if you know the

alternative BOM number. Then click .

Input the part number for “Material” and the Plant number for “Plant”. Then click .

How to determine the standard cost of a part? Use T-Code MM03 to search for the material master of the part number

Navigate through the Material Masters and select the “Costing 2” tab. Click on the folder image and select “Costing 2” on the dropdown.

To determine the standard price per unit, take the standard price and divided by the price unit. Or click Current for more information/detail.

Another way to determine the standard cost would be to click on the dropdown for “Cost Based On” and select “User Entry”.

Input quantity and unit of measure for the standard cost calculations.

A breakdown will show what the standard cost. Also more details are seen on the “Detail List”

How to determine where a component is used? Use T-Code CS15.

Input the part number for “Material”. Check the box for “Direct” and then click .

Input the Plant number for “Plant”. Then click .

A list will be generated and would display where the component is used. For the example below, Component 101364901 is used to build Component 101361901.

How to determine where a batch was used? Use T-Code MB56.

Input the part number for “Material Number”, the Plant number for “Plant”, and the Lot Number for “Batch”. For “Type of Expansion”, select Bottom-Up Analysis. Then click to Start Analysis.

All lots that used the particular component and the batch/lot in question will be populated and listed on the left column. For more details on the lots, click the arrow to drop down for more information.

How to determine the drawing revision used for a shop order? Use T-Code ZRCK

Input Plant number for “Plant” and shop order number for “Batch”. Then click .

The revision will display next to “Batch Rev:”

How to determine countries a product is approved for sale in? Use T-Code MM03.

Input Material Number (Part Number) into the box. Next click the check mark or hit enter.

A “Select View(s)” window would pop up. Select all by clicking . All views should be highlighted then click the check or hit enter.

Scroll through the “Values for Class Z_Batch” Table to determine where this Model is approved for sales.

How to determine what batches a customer has purchased? Use T-Code MB51.

Input the part number for “Material Number”, the plant number for “Plant”, and customer number for “Customer”. Then click to Execute.

All batches purchased by the inputted customer and the date of purchase would be listed.
