General Moraling Tips“What if my dancer has a lot of support or pushy

friends?”Sometimes friends know what the dancer needs

most so give your dancer some alone time with their friends and find another dancer in need of moraling.

Friends will not be trained the way you are so feel free to remind them not to say that they are tired or sore or tell the dancer the time.

General Moraling Tips

“What if my dancer needs help but refuses it?”Get a Captain. If a dancer is refusing to cooperate

and you think they need help, get assistance from any of the Captains. We are all here for all of you!

General Moraling Tips

“What if I have to use the restroom when I’m on shift?”Unfortunately, you aren’t allowed to use the

bathrooms on the event level. It’s very important that you go before you come on shift so your Captain doesn’t need to walk you back upstairs.

Shifts are only about four to five hours long so hopefully you can wait that long!

General Moraling Tips“What are the slides of

strength?”These are a very popular

activity put on for dancers by our OPP friends! These give dancers an opportunity to get off of their feet for a few seconds and have their muscles massaged.

Be sure to tell your dancer that they will get baby powder on them (from head-to-toe) because some of them may not like that!

General Moraling Tips

“How do I split time between my dancer and my committee?”When you are on the floor on your shift, you are

there for the dancers. Although you love your committee and want to spend time with them, now is not the time.

If your dancer doesn’t need your help or has a lot of friends around them, go help a dancer who doesn’t have that and would like some company!

“How do I give a good foot rub?”Get used to giving foot rubs to dancers! Be sure to always have baby powder and hand

sanitizer on you at all times. The powder makes the foot rub feel better and the hand sanitizer will make you feel clean after!

Be sure to help the dancer balance when they aretaking their shoes off then…
