General information about M7 repairing tools

Basically, this complete set of repairing tools are divided into four categories. They are:

1. Wrenches or fixtures related to Left-handed thread. Refer this category to slides from No. 3 to No.9.

2. Wrenches or fixtures related to Right-handed thread. Refer this category to slides from No. 11 to No.19.

3. Fixtures for general assembling. Refer this category to slides from No. 21 to No.25.

4. Fixtures for motor assembling. Refer this category to slides from No. 27 to No.33.

Wrenches or fixtures related to Left-handed thread.

For the sake of better performance, longer durability and safer operation, some components on the air tools must be finished with a left-handed thread.

Therefore, please be cautious and note the following before maintaining the air tools whenever left handed thread is encountered:

Left-handed thread must be loosened clockwise and tightened counterclockwise.

Category 1.

Front housing(Left-handed thread )

Clamp the air screw driver RA-102 onto a vise first, then loosen or tighten the Front Housing RA-102P01 with this repairing tool ZW-0101.

Note: 1. Before turning this repairing tool, make sure to lock the screw, which is on this repairing tool, into the hole on the front housing. 2. Turn clockwise to loosen and counterclockwise to tighten the Front Housing .

ZW-0101 (Front Housing Opener)

ZW-0102 (Front Housing Opener)

Clamp the air screw driver RA-101 onto a vise first, then loosen or tighten the Front Housing RA-102P01 with this repairing tool ZW-0102.

Note: Turn clockwise to loosen and counterclockwise to tighten.

Front housing(Left-handed thread )

ZW-0103 (Nut Dismantling Wrench)

Nut (Left-handed thread )

Clamp the air screw driver onto a vise, then dismantle or tighten the Nut with this repairing tool ZW-0103. Note: Turn clockwise to loosen and counterclockwise to tighten.

ZW-0104 (Nut dismantling wrench)

Clamp the air screw driver onto a vise, then dismantle or tighten the Nut with this repairing tool ZW-0104. Note: Turn clockwise to loosen and counterclockwise to tighten.

Clamp the repairing fixture ZW-0303 onto a vise first, then insert the front portion of the rotor assembly into the central hole of it, as shown, then use a 12mm combination wrench to tighten or loosen the Governor.

Category 2.

For disassembling or assembling a component with right-handed thread on it, just remember to loosen it counterclockwise and tighten clockwise.

Never confuse right-handed thread with left-handed thread!

Use the repairing wrench ZW-0202 to loosen or tighten the Throttle Valve Plug by:

Turning it counterclockwise to loosen and clockwise to tighten.

Reference: Take NC-4218 as example1. Place #18 Gasket at the bottom of

Motor Housing, then, align the cylinder dowel hole on the Gasket to the

one on Motor Housing.2. Insert the fixture ZW-0801-A onto the Motor Housing.3. Insert the fixture ZW-0801-B into cylinder dowel hole on Motor Housing through Gasket.

4. Hold the whole set of motor assembly and align the cylinder dowel hole on Rear End Plate #25 to the fixture ZW-0801-B. Then, slide the whole set of motor assembly into Motor Housing slowly. Note: The Cylinder Dowel #26 will be pushed out when the Motor Assembly reaches the bottom of Motor Housing.5. Take out the fixture ZW-0801-B from motor assembly.6. Insert Cylinder Dowel to fix the position of motor assembly on motor housing.7. Finally remove the fixture ZW-0801-A.
