AssessmentStudents’ progress is measured on a formative and summative basis. Students are also provided with a report which indicates their progress, enabling them to develop their skills. Assessment can take place through in-class activities, formal and informal tests, interviews, pair work and group work, research assignments and computer-based tasks.

Course Description

The Diploma of Leadership and Management provides learners with the knowledge, practical skills and experience in leadership and management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.

Individuals at this level must have the necessary initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own work-load, as well as the workload of others. You will learn to use your communication skills to support other individuals and eventually be able to lead a team, making sure they meet all organisational and enterprise requirements.

The course will teach you to plan, design, apply and evaluate solutions to unpredictable problems, and identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources.
