MUSIC CLASSES

Introduction to Flamenco Guitar ▲

This class is open to experienced guitarists. No previous flamenco guitar experience required. The class will emphasize the various flamenco techniques and styles appropriate to the class level.

Introduction to Cante (song) and Palmas (hand clapping) ▲

This class is open to everyone! No previous singing experience required. This class will cover basic technique, lyrics, and rhythms using palmas (hand clapping). This class is highly recommended for flamenco dancers and guitarists.

Introduction to the Cajón

This class is open to everyone! No previous percussion experience required. Learn basic flamenco rhythms and techniques. The cajón, an Afro-Peruvian drum, is now one of the most important percussion instruments in flamenco. * A limited number of cajóns will be provided or bring your own.

DANCE CLASSES

Advanced Repertory

Classes are for the advanced student and professional dancer and will provide participants with the latest in flamenco choreography.

Intermediate Repertory (ages 8 – 12)

This class is for the experienced student with at least three years flamenco dance experience and some experience with the palo (music form) being taught. Introduction to Flamenco Dance (ages 13 – adult)

This class is open to the novice. No previous dance experience required. Learn basic technique and a short choreography. Introduction to Flamenco Dance (ages 8 – 12) ▲
