The state-of-theart technological built into these TV cameras

(whether black/white or color) makes it possible to configure

solutions with just the right quality/price ratio, in particular in

the monochrome range. All the TV cameras feature an auto

shutter circuit and can therefore be equipped with fixed or

manual iris lenses, even in the case of medium variations in

lighting of the scene. The main characteristics of these prod-

Digital video recorders can record and reproduce multiplexed

images from 4 to 16 different video cameras. An optional

memory system can also provide automatic recording storage

for days, months and even longer. A CD-ROM can be used to

Urmet video recorders are compatible with the Ethernet web

according to models used; so once an address is assigned to

each machine images can also be seen live on the LAN or

Dvr - dvs System seriesThe DVR-DVS System Series range consists of professional devices for video recordingand remote and local video surveillance. Based on IP technology (hence the name DVSDigital Video Server), DVR-DVS System Series units use native data transmission net-works. With a H.264 compression algorithm and top-notch professional functions, suchas optimised Frame Rate (25 frame per second for each video channel) and MainStream/Sub Stream functions for optimal use of the available network transmissionband, the DVR-DVS System Series range has new functions making it even more versa-tile. The new functions are described in the “New system range functions” paragraph.

NEW SYSTEM RANGE FUNCTIONS

Simplified OSD menuThe main DVR-DVS Series System control menu is simplified for easier use also by lessexpert operators. The basic functions in each menu item are the same as before.Advanced functions have been grouped in a submenu which can be opened by clicking onthe “ADVANCED” button.

New Internet Explorer Browser interfaceThe Browser interface (fully redesigned) is now capable of managing all DVR functions(including setup and video stream management). Useful for users who either do notwant or cannot access the NVM Software Client (included in the CD accompanying theproduct), the new interface now allows recording to the local PC from which operationsare controlled (PC recordings are independent from DVR recordings) and playback of recordings stored on either the remote DVR or the local PC.

MouseA mouse is included. Connected to the DVR (via USB port), it is used to manage videostreams and program the digital video recorder (essentially the mouse replicates all the functions which can be activated from the DVR front panel). The mouse can alsobe used to control Easy Dome II cameras (pan and tilt, zoom and preset positions).Easy installation and flexibility are the two main advantages of use of this device.

Scheduled recording deletionIn accordance with specific requirements dictated by Privacy Codes, the DVR menu now features a new configuration parameter for programming a number of days of life of the recording after which the DVR will start deleting the data by writing over them.

E-mail alarm notificationThis function allows to program one or two e-mail addresses in the DVR menu. An alarm message (contact or motion) will be sent in case of alarm (if an Internet connection is present). The text will contain information on the physical name assigned to the DVR, the camera to which the alarm is associated, the alarm type and the dateand time of the event.

Automatic DVR-DVS PLAYER saving on CD/DVD or USB memory keyThis new function allows to save the Player file directed to DVD (or key) during backupand decode (i.e. display) the recording on a PC without necessarily requiring the pres-ence of a pre-installed SW Client.

Saving/loading DVD parameters to/from USB memory key This new function is used to save/load the entire DVR configuration (installation parame-ters) to/from a USB memory key. In an installation consisting of several DVRs in a singlesystem project (e.g. chain of shops or a medium-to-large system), you can program oneDVR, backup parameters to a USB memory key and load the settings on the other DVRs.

Live camera feed to mobile phone or PDA (SW included)The “Mobile Video Surveillance” software (included with the product) may be used to display live feed on a mobile phone or PDA from all cameras (one video channel at a time) linked to the connected DVR. The PTZ function may also be used to control the Easy Dome II (panning and tilting) from a mobile phone or PDA. The Sub-Stream function (an exclusive feature of DVR-DVSSystems) provide an excellent ratio between transmitted frames and quality displayed on the mobile phone or PDA.
