Context: The emergence of online labor markets is disrupting the way enterprises think about their workforces
Large enterprises are experiencing a two-pronged shift…1. Greater demand for agility: shorter project lifecycles, rapid change in mix of skills required2. Evolving needs and values in the workforce: Engaging work vs. long-term stability
The rise of the freelance – or ‘gig’ – economy enhances the ability to match people with work that best suits them. To take advantage of this significant opportunity organizations must change their thinking from static relationships, with fixed sets of human resources to leveraging a Liquid Workforce, ‘orchestrating’ across dynamic teams of internal and external labor pools.
Gigeconomy is Here: 43% of the US workforce is expected to be freelancers by 2020.1

Accenture Labs’ Prototype is designed to extend any online talent sourcing platform with functionality to promote equitable pay and hiring processes.
Our initial prototype has been built on top of the Accenture Labs Crowd Talent Sourcing Tool, which provides an intelligent unified interface for sourcing the right internal and external labor markets. The prototype provides a set of services that work together to promote fairness in 4 distinct ways. Existing Accenture
