Arab Countries• I am an Arab girl I am just making this

presentation to show how much an Arab girl suffers she is forbidden from all of her rights if she won’t get married by the age of 20 they will make her feel that she means nothing and that she is nothing if a girl doesn’t get married she is not allowed to leave her parents house because they don’t trust her but they tell her because you are a girl you can’t live by yourself and they don’t let her build her future they don’t allow her to work or to drive a car or even a bicycle they are only living in the past and the old traditions the don’t want to start a brand new life they think that there future is connected to there past.

A Guy• A guy is always their favorite if

the mother will give birth to a girl she might even get divorced or maybe killed (her and the “girl”) and if her husband is not that bad he will tell her maybe one day you will give birth to a boy to prettify our family let’s take an example: if a girl gets raped she is blamed more than the guy is

• If a guy is not married it’s ok but if a girl isn’t it’s a problem

Page 4: Gender inequality (we can)

• They always think a girl is going to do something bad to shame the family sometimes they even burry the girl alive so she won’t contaminate the family’s reputation • They trust the boy but not the girl

never the girl they don’t allow the girls just to open the door for the guests cause they think it’s impolite

•When a girl just says that she feels dizzy or complain about something hurting her or feeling wrong her mother will drag her to a room and beat her and ask her are you pregnant even without her being pregnant

Page 6: Gender inequality (we can)

•Some families don’t allow the girl to go to school and some don’t allow her to work just because they think she is going to date or do something wrong they blame her for everything… everything
