• Selon les données de l’Institut National de la Statistique (INS) de 2013:• le chômage est plus sévère chez les femmes (21,9%) que chez

les hommes (12,8%). • Les 2/3 des femmes employées travaillent dans trois secteurs

principaux à forte main-d’œuvre féminine, à savoir les services (49,4%), l’industrie manufacturière (26,4%) et l’agriculture (16,7%), où les rémunérations sont plus modiques et les conditions de travail moins avantageuses.• Une étude réalisée par la GIZ en 2013 affirme que 4 entreprises

seulement sur les 30 plus grandes entreprises tunisiennes comptent une femme dans leur conseil d’administration. • la Tunisie compte entre 14.000 et 15.000 femmes chefs

d’entreprise estimées, soit 6,5%.

• Selon l'Office National de la Famille et de la Population (ONFP), 47,6 % des femmes tunisiennes déclarent avoir été victimes d'une forme de violence au cours de leur vie • Les Affaires de la Femme et de la Famille (SEFF) le pourcentage des femmes occupant des postes de décision dans la fonction publique par rapport au total des femmes fonctionnaires est à peine de 2,03%, et que le pourcentage des femmes occupant des postes de décision par rapport à la totalité des agents de la fonction publique est seulement de 0,76%»
