What is Gen Y?• Generation Y came after Generation X.• Generation Y covers people born between 1981

to 1999 (Lancaster and Stillman,2002)• They are usually the children of Baby Boomers

and people in early Gen X.• It has given different names, including Net Gen,

Millennials and Echo Boomers, or jokingly Generation Why.

• Generation Y has been shaped by the technological revolution that occurred throughout their youth.
