JACKING BEAMS FOR MOTWe supply UK manufactured jacking beams which are available as either manual or air operated. All jacking beams are fully approved for MOT testing purposes. We can supply models in either 2 tonne (class 4) or 2.8 / 4 tonne (class 4 & 7).

In addition to jacking beams supplied for our own lifts, we can also supply jacking beams for many other lifts. A full range of accessories are also available including steel and rubber raiser blocks and air kits.

LIGHTING KITS FOR LIFTSWe can offer LED lighting kits with magnetic fixings in 1.6m tube lengths. These IP54 rated, energy-efficient lights are brighter than fluorescent tubes, very sturdy and are guaranteed for 10 years!

WHAT ARE OPTL AND ATL?In 2006 the option to install ‘Automated Test Lanes’ was introduced by VOSA. Existing MOT stations could then simultaneously upgrade their equipment and reduce labour costs by using one person. The additional equipment required was a lift or pit with a play detector, pedal depressor and a pair of convex MOT mirrors (OPTL).

All new MOT applications wishing to ‘One Person Test’ are now required to go full ATL. This also includes a computerised brake tester with weigh scales in addition to the items required for OPTL. Traditional ‘2 Person’ MOT testing with the appropriate equipment continues, and new sites may still apply for this.

INSTALLATION FINANCE

From the moment the equipment is delivered to your site on vehicles with offloading facilities, we will install speedily and efficiently. It is our goal to deliver and install on time so you may maximise your revenue.

We will of course provide all necessary certification for you to obtain your VOSA approval.

We are able to offer competitive lease packages via reputable finance companies over 1-5 year periods. Lease packages can also include maintenance and extended warranty packages.

Our builders will cut recesses and ducts for lifts, brake testers and headlight testers. Our NICEIC electricians will provide all the required electrical supplies and connection for your new equipment.

Alternatively, we are pleased to provide the information for you to pass on to your contractors.

BM AUTOTEKNIK MOT & ATL BRAKE TESTERSBM is one of the leading manufacturers of brake testers in the world and provide hi-tech equipment for all classes. All the latest ATL equipment is controlled by a PDA and either the PC on a gas analyser or a separate PC. VOSA and GEA engineers visited the BM factory to gain approval for their ATL Brake testers.
