Boys/Girls State:

Juniors have the oppor-tunity to participate in Boys/Girls State this summer. This week long program gives students the experience of run-ning a state government with other junior repre-sentatives from across the state of Kansas. Students in this program run for office and pass

legislation. This is a great opportunity to learn about govern-ment, develop leader-ship skills and meet other kids from across the state. It looks great on a college applica-tion! Stop by the coun-seling office if you are interested in participat-ing. We can only send a limited number.

SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE:

Local scholarship infor-mation is now available to our seniors. Last year our students were awarded more than

$100,000 dollars in scholarship money. Sen-iors should stop by the counseling office for more information.
