The functionUnlike conventional roof drainage meth-ods, the Geberit Pluvia roof drainage system functions as a syphonic system. The pipeline system fills up completely as rapidly as possible, thanks to the correct pipeline dimensioning and arrangement of the Geberit Pluvia roof outlets, thus generating a negative pressure in the pipeline. This negative pressure in the pipe rapidly withdraws the rainwater by suction, instead of merely allowing it to drain away, and also ensures an improved self-clean-ing function.

The wide range of outlets and accessories allows to connect with every roof mate-rial. The Geberit Pluvia outlets can also be transformed into emergency outlets with an additional installation kit. The Geberit Pluvia emergency overflows collect rain-water in addition to the roof outlets when the actual rainfall exceeds the designed drainage capacity of the roof drainage system and gives an additional security.
Convincing performanceWith traditional systems, rainwater flows to the stormwater sewers partially filling the pipes on its way. The Geberit Pluvia roof outlets and the Geberit pipes are always dimensioned in such a way that a complete filling of the piping system is ensured.
A wide range of outletsDue to the different discharge rates of the outlets (14 l/s, 19 l/s or 25 l/s) an economi-cal layout of the roof drainage system can be reached.

The flexible fastening systemThe Geberit Pluvia fastening system was developed for the installation of exposed horizontal roof drainage piping. The ex-pansions and contractions of the pipes, that occur after installation, are absorbed by the system itself. For this purpose, all mechanical forces are transmitted to the square steel rail routed parallel to the pipe.
A few system featuresThanks to the fastening system contain-ing pipe brackets and a variety of rail system components, large spans between beams can be bridged in bay structures. In comparison to conventional fasten-ing systems, the Geberit Pluvia fastening
