Incline su secadora hacia un lado y remueva lasalmohadillas de espuma de empacar como semuestra en el diagrama. Asegurese de remover todoslos pedazos de espuma de alrededor de las patas.

Remueva la bolsa que contiene la parrilla de secado,la literatura y el cable serial.

COMO CAMBIAR LOS TABLEROSDE LA LAVADORA Y LA SECADORA(optional)

REQUISITOS PARA LAINSTALACION EN ARMARIO

• Su secadora esta aprobada para instalarseen armarios, como se establece en laetiqueta en la parte posterior de lasecadora.

La secadora DEBE ventilarse hacia elexterior. Ver la secci6n COMO INSTALAREL ESCAPE DE LA SECADORA.

Un espacio minimo entre la secadora y lasparedes adyacentes y otras superficies es:

COMO INSTALAFI EL ESCAPE DE LA SECADORA

ADVERTENCIA: Parareducirel riesgo de incendio o lesiones personales:

• Esta secadora de ropa debe contar con una salidaal exterior.

• Utilice solo un conducto de metal rigido de 4"para el conducto de salida domestico.

• Utilice solo un conducto de metal rigido de 4" ode metal flexible aprobado por UL (semi-rigido otipo papel de aluminio) para conectar la secadoraal conducto de salida domestico. Debe instalarsede acuerdo con las instrucciones incluidas en"Como conectar la secadora a la ventilaciondomestica" de la pagina 29 de este manual.

SEPARACION DE CURVAS

Para un mejor desempeho, separe todas lascurvas con 4 pies de conducto recto comominimo, incluyendo la distancia entre la ultimacurva y la cubierta de pared con regulador detiro. Para curvas ubicadas a una distancia menorde 4 pies, ver la Tabla de equivalencia decomponentes de conductos.

SELLADO DE JUNTAS

Todas las juntas deben estar bien selladas paraevitar perdidas. El extremo macho de cadaseccion de conducto debe apuntar en direccionopuesta de la secadoraoNo arme la red de conductos con sujeciones quese extiendan dentro del conducto. Funcionarancomo un punto de acumulacidn de pelusas.Las juntas de los conductos deben serhermeticas al aire y a la humedad mediantela superposicion de juntas con cinta aislante ocinta de aluminio.

• Los tramos horizontales deben tener unainclinacion hacia el exterior de 1/4" por pie.

AISLACION

Los conductos instalados a traves de una area sincalefaccidn o ubicados cerca de un acondicionadorde aire deben aislarse para reducir la condensaciony la acumulacidn de pelusas.

Conecte la tarjeta de control de la secadoraal tablero nuevo deslizando el conector de

la cinta en el tablero nuevo y empuje haciaadentro. AsegOrese de que la cinta no estedoblada antes de insertar el conector.

Coloque la cinta y el cable desde eltablero debajo del aliviador de presi6nen el tablero nuevo.

Reemplace los cuatro tornillos removidos dela tarjeta de control en un paso anterior.

La tarjeta de control ahora estara en el ladoopuesto del tablero de la lavadora.

RECONECTE LA TARJETA DECONTROL DE LA LAVADORA

Conecte la tarjeta de control de la secadoraal tablero nuevo deslizando el conector de la

cinta en el tablero nuevo y empuje haciaadentro. AsegQrese de que la cinta no estedoblada antes de insertar el conector.

COLOQUE EL TABLEROEN LA LAVADORA

Usando los dos tornillos peque5os queremovi6 antes, atornille el tablero nuevode la lavadora.
