Image quality is the cornerstone of the LOGIQ 7. GE hasdeveloped advanced technology that gives you improvedresolution and superior image quality, for enhanced diagnosticcapabilities that help you see more than ever before.

LOGIQ 7 turns up the volume in ultrasound by integratingour Volume Ultrasound advancements with 2D optimizationtechnologies – taking your facility into a new era of ultrasound.Now, you can acquire and construct volumetric imagesinstantaneously with 4D transducers, reconstruct volumesfrom raw data cine loops and manipulate data to view fromsagittal, transverse or coronal, as well as oblique planes,to see anatomical relationships never before visualized.

Our latest volume enhancements deliver more:

• Volume Calculation (VOCAL) automatically calculates volumesbased on trackball tracing (manual, semi automatic or fullyautomatic) of the region of interest for evaluating irregularstructures.

• Inversion Mode makes it easier to visualize volumes comparedto conventional ultrasound techniques by automaticallyproviding surface renderings of hypoechoic structures,beneficial for the evaluation of contiguous multiple cystsor irregular fluid collection.

• Volume Contrast Imaging (VCI-Static) delivers unmatchedB-Mode contrast resolution and speckle suppression in eachof the three cut planes, helpful in evaluating solid organs andcystic structures.

Clear flow visualization

B-Flow, a unique GE technology, displays true hemodynamicsand provides direct visualization of blood reflectors bymagnifying those blood reflectors 30dB (1000 times). Asignificant advantage for vascular studies, it eliminates colorflow over-write, frame-rate impact , and offers less angledependence.

In addition, GE’s exclusive B-Flow Color adds color to theimage to further enhance visualization of the blood reflectors.It also enhances B-Flow resolution and can be used duringanatomical B-Mode scanning. B-Flow Color is part of GE’s 3rdgeneration B-Flow coded ultrasound technology.

Contrast Enhanced UltrasoundThe new TruAgent Detection using DualView introduces abrand new era in Contrast Enhanced Ultrasound. Easy, quickand complete with all the diagnostic information you need,TruAgent Detection is a visualization technique based onlow MI contrast agent detection that provides unmatcheddiagnostic capabilities.Based on Coded Phase Inversion GE proprietary technologiesto detect contrast non-linear harmonic signals, TruAgent Detection in DualView Mode provides a UNIQUE RealTime representation of the Contrast and Tissue contentssimultaneously in a DUAL Display, to get “what you need, inthe way you work”.

The Time Intensity Curve “extended package” completes theonboard contrast agent capabilities by enabling you to set and analyze up to 8 simultaneous Regions Of Interest withnumerous post-processing possibilities thanks to the exclusiveTruScanTM Contrast Raw Data. GE’s exclusive TruScan™ architecture makes the virtualrescan possible. TruScan allows raw image data to be storedearly in the image chain for optimum flexibility duringprocessing and analysis post exam. With access to raw imagedata, you are able to compensate for variations in imageacquisition by virtually rescanning the patient after theyhave left the exam room.

Using raw data, the virtual rescan allows you to:
