Advanced colour-match testing

The spectral power distribution of the DF System gives you unparalleled light quality and can easily satisfy the need to test under CIE A (Tungsten), D50 and D65.

Using a combination of specially designed phosphor composites and the highest quality violet pumped silicone junctions, for confident evaluations of colours, surfaces and samples.

The DF (Daylight Frame) System is a state of the art colour assessment system, engineered to offer an impressive range of intensity control and programmable settings, making the DF Systemthe most customizable, large-scale colour matching product on the market today.

Bringing daylight into your testing environment, the DF System mimics a 24-hour spectrum of outdoor lighting conditions for perfect colour

matching applications. Producing surface light levels up to 100,000 lux, the DF System solves all the challenges associated with large component colour matching and daylight simulation within your testing space.

No matter how large or small the testing environment, the DF System can be adapted for a perfect fit with minimal disruption.

Cutting edge ‘Low Blue Peak’ spectrum is the closest match to date from LED test sources. The optional F11 modules completes even the most challenging testing environment.

Playback of all standard lighting spectrums can be recalled quickly using the touch panel control surface, guaranteeing a precise and instant comparative view during the testing process.

With such high illuminance levels, it’s important to make sure that Ultra Violet (UV) and Infra-Red (IR) emissions are minimized because these can be harmful to individuals and very damaging to materials. The LED CoB chip technology utilized by DF System only produces light in the visible spectrum, with very little energy in the IR and UV ends of the light spectrum.

Modular Frames

The aircraft aluminum, precision welded modular frames are lightweight and fuse effortlessly to create scalable configurations, to suit any size testing room.

Combining the lightweight frames with LED engines creates a powerful 48,000 Lumen power block of controllable light.

Configurations can be installed with minimum stress using M10 threaded bars, that can be swiftly fixed to an existing roof structure or mounted directly to the roof space itself. Self-supporting frames are also available for smaller configurations.

The 6-way 48,000 lumen module gives system scalability allowing 12, 24, 48 and 96 head configurations as standard. Custom layouts are also possible for special applications.

DF System comprises of LED engines, modular mounting frames, precision drive control and a powerful configurable touch panel control system.

LED Engines

Being convection cooled, each LED engine is engineered to the highest standard for low running temperatures, giving exceptional consistency over 50,000 hours of use. Your testing space remains completely silent for upmost concentration during critical evaluations.

Varied beam angle options allow for simple and straight forward installation at any working height.

The 4-way friction focus mechanism means precise focus for each individual head giving limitless accurate surface uniformity during setup.

Each head is built with a pluggable RJ45 connection, meaning LED engines can be easily changed or reconfigured for ongoing maintenance. The LED engines are designed to run using standard CAT 5/6 cabling infrastructure, keeping costs to a minimum whilst sustaining highly reliable operation.

Precision Drive Control

A separate remote-control unit with GDS ‘Absolute Zero’ dimming technology inside creates perfect smooth dimming with fully configurable dimming curves and switching frequencies, giving unlimited flexibility and system setup options.

A GDS redundant power supply unit keeps the DF System running, even if there is a power supply failure. Every DF System comes complete with e-mail support for monitoring and maintenance of your product, so you don’t need to worry about routine maintenance.

The GDS constant current drive system minimizes power loses in the cabling and ensures absolute accuracy from each LED head giving consistent light.

The remote unit can be easily installed in cupboard spaces or outside of the room to encourage a silent and focused working environment.

Multiple logging and monitoring functions can be deployed depending on application. These vary from CANBUS to TCPIP transport methods.

Touch panel control system

The DF System uses a powerful touch panel control system that can be wired or wireless operation, giving you instant controllability at your fingertips.

DF System has standard spectrum presets so the lighting spectrum can be easily changed with minimum effort. Custom controls allow each color temperature to be adjusted to create custom spectrums that can be easily saved for future recall.

Light levels can be adjusted to zero, whilst maintaining a consistent colour temperature, giving a new dimension to assessment of samples.

A built-in web server means DF System can be controlled as part of a larger test system for logging and continuous repetition testing applications.
