PSF products
• Catalyze, maximize and mainstream private sector
engagement in climate finance mitigation and adaptation
action throughout developing countries
• The PSF is mainstream component of the GCF and its
financing activities
• GCF will allocate a significant proportion of its resources to
the PSF through active private sector engagement in
coordination with AEs, governments and local stakeholders
• PSF accounts for 22% of approved GCF projects by number,
but 52% of total $$ invested
• PSF offers demand-driven financial solutions/structures
tailored to individual project needs

USD 500 mln co-financing from GCF:
• Call for proposals for innovative concepts to mobilise finance for climate-resilient and low-emissions projects & programmes
• An international campaign aiming at accredited and non accredited entities has been launched over the summer
• The evaluation process of the projects and programmes has started in Sept 2017
