In response, the Engineering Excellence Group was formed to accomplish immediate and long-term improvement in value delivered to customers.

The EE strategy aims to create a strong baseline set of engineering systems for Microsoft and lay the foundation for constant improvement by each product line.

By leveraging the passion and knowledge of the individual engineers, Engineering Excellence can enable a culture of innovation.
