Problem• Makes the water dirty and the fish can't see

Solution• A sediment control or barrier is designed to keep

soil on a construction site, so that it does not wash off and cause water pollution to a nearby stream, river, lake, or sea.

• Spread hay on top of bare soil to protect it from the rain

• Keep piles of dirt away from storm water drains.

• Grow grass and plant trees to hold soil together.
