MEDITERRAN DIET
Characteristics:
-Their basic food is: legumes, vegetables, fruit, fish, olive oil and wine.
-They eat more fish, especially blue fish than meat.
-They usually cook simply.
-It’s a sustainable food model and of quality.
-Red meat is consumed few times a month.
-They cook with olive oil.
-They have five meals a day.
-This type of diet avoids cardiovascular
illnesses and cancer.
WESTERN DIET
Caracteristics:
-They cook with butter. -In their diet they include lots of saturated greasies, fried food, red meat, eggs, sweets, salt, fast food,...-Their diet caused obesity, cancer, arterial pressure.-It’s a diet with high greasy.
