Real-decentralized architecture

Every position, gateway (every node) manage their own communications, so the

failure in one of them does not affect the operation of the whole system.

The system components can be upgraded or replaced without any effect in the

system’s operation because they are fully independent from the rest and do not

rely on central equipment that can be affected.

The system can be expanded simply by plugging in the new components without

extending any central equipment.

Resources Sharing

Thanks to the use of ED-137 standard, it is possible to share resources between

GAREX VCSs and to enable centres to be backup for each other.

In case of a virtual centre operation, one only system can be deployed in several

locations enabling the common operation between all of them. In case of network

unavailability, each location can still operate as a stand-alone system.

Contingency from a training GAREX VCS (simulator) can be done simply by

uploading a new configuration to grant access to the real lines from the

simulation consoles.
