Statistics show that with the proper community projects in place that gang violence has improved for the better.

3. Funds can be raised by getting the community involved in fund raisers such as bake sales, car washes, or concerts. 4. The grass roots encourage community development to involve the neighborhood in beneficial activities to make improvements of buildings and land, opportunities, goods, and services that add to the quality of their life. 6. Prevention programs to educate and involve children in more positive activities. 7. Family, schools, and the community should be involved, including law officials.
