About Gandaki Medical College The city hospital of GMC is located in the heart of Pokhara city. MBBS and Bsc Nursing are the focal courses for this institute.

Other planned courses are BDS, BSc Pharmacy, BSc Lab Technology etc. The total fixed assets investment of the project is estimated at Rs.164 crores and working capital at appx Rs. 12 crores. Estimated long-term loan is Rs. 90 crores to finance55% of fixed assets. Promoter's equity to finance fixed asset will be Rs. 60 crores.NRs. 14 crores will be covered by reserve and surplus funds of the project. Thegestation period for term loan will be one year and will be repaid in ninth year by2017. The accumulated interest will be paid at the start of each year from the firstyear of borrowing. The project is founded on its own land. The location havesufficient land to satisfy the mandatory requisites of the affiliating university andthe professional council. The construction of buildings and civil works andinstallation of equipment is projected for completion by the end of 2014.

MBBS Eligibility

Eligibility:

Eligibility conditions for admission to MBBS course are as stipulated by theTribhuvan University, Nepal. The candidates must have passed intermediateScience/Class XII/10+2 or "A" Level of I. Sc or proficiency certificate in GeneralScience from recognized university of Boards or an equivalent examination ofHigher Secondary School level obtaining minimum 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry,Biology and English in aggregate. The student should have passed separatelyin theory & practical examinations of Physics, Chemistry & Biology. The Internationalcandidates have to pass the entrance examination conducted by TU/IOM. TheNepalese students are admitted through joint entrance examination conductedby TU/IOM on merit.

Following Documents Must Be ProducedCandidates must submit the following document in order to get admission:

• Original mark sheet of Intermediate of Science/Class XII examination of 10+2system or an equivalent examination of higher secondary level.

• Original certificate of intermediate of science/class 10+2 system of an equivalentexamination of higher secondary level.

• Attested copy of the proof of citizenship or passport.

• Original character certificate, original transfer certificate from the academicinstitution or 10+2 school or Higher Secondary Level last attended.

• Original Migration Certificate from the academic institution or 10+2 school orHigher Secondary Level last attended.

• Six copies of recent passport size photographs.

• Original mark sheet of SLC or equivalent, original SLC pass certificate & charactercertificate.

* THE ORIGINALS OF ALL THE ABOVE MENTIONED DOCUMENTS SHALL BE SUBMITTED TO TRIBHUVAN UNIVERSITY THROUGH THE OFFICE OF GANDAKI MEDICAL COLLEGE, POKHARA NEPAL.
