How Do I Get There?

• Recruiting is key.• You have to be looking for your next manager

when doing your interviews.• When we schedule them we tell them we are

looking for management. • Talk about management during the interview

don’t bypass it.• Call them while studying in reference to mgmt

and ask who they could foresee hiring.

• First day of work treat them like a Manager in training.

• Have AUM training every week.• You have to guide them.• Leadership 101 (it will help you develop new

leaders).– I’ve sent 7 AUMs - 1 is one of my top UMs– 1 is my top AUM and runs satellite branch– 2 will be promoted the first of the year

Do They Know Your Vision?• How can they get to

where you want to go if they don’t know where you are going?

• Put your vision in front of them constantly!

• Have a short term and long term goal and make it attainable for everybody.
