BASKETBALL JONES: In the first start of his career, Jemerrio Jones tallied a career-high 16 rebounds, five points, five rebounds and two blocks. • He became the first undrafted rookie to ever put up his line and only the sixth undrafted player to ever do so • Jones followed that up with 15 boards in the season finale and is the first Lakers rookie with 31+ rebounds in their first two starts (since starters were tracked in '70-71)

CARUSHOW: Alex Caruso put together his best night of basketball in the Lakers final non-home contest of the season on 4/5 at LA Clippers, recording his first double-double with career highs in points (32, 5-7 3FG, 7-7 FT) and rebounds (10) to go along with five assists and two steals. • He joined LeBron James, Brook Lopez, Antawn Jamison, Kobe Bryant (seven) and Cedric Ceballos as the only Lakers with 32+ points, 10+ boards and 5+ 3FG in a game • The performance built on a strong closing month for the two-way guard as he scored 23 points (7-11 FG, 4-4 3FG) off the bench on 3/31 at New Orleans, adding six assists and four steals on the night, to become the first Lakers player to meet those totals off the bench since steals became an official NBA stat in 1973-74

HELPING HAND: Rajon Rondo finished with a season-high 17 assists, 7 points, 6 rebounds and 6 steals on 3/29 vs. Charlotte. • The assist total is the most by a Lakers player since Kobe Bryant tallied 17 assists on 1/15/2015 vs. Cleveland • He's the first Lakers player to notch 17 or more assists and 6+ steals in the same game since Magic Johnson on 12/15/1989 at Boston

MUST SEE MCGEE: JaVale McGee notched new career highs with 33 points (15-20 FG) and 20 rebounds on 3/22 vs. Brooklyn, also adding six blocks in 35 minutes. • He joins Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (four times) as the only Lakers with at least 33-20-6 and is the first NBA player with those single-game totals since David Robinson in 1994 • It's the first 30-20-5 performance in the NBA this season and just the fifth since 1999-00 (Andre Drummond, DeMarcus Cousins, Shaq, Kevin Garnett) • McGee followed that up with 17 points (8-8 FG), 13 rebounds and 5 blocks on 3/24 vs. Sacramento, and 20 points (9-11 FG), 15 rebounds and 4 blocks on 3/26 vs. Washington, becoming the first player in NBA history to notch at least 17-13-4 while shooting 75% from the field in three consecutive games
