Introduction Galileo ViewTrip.com is a web-based itinerary tool designed to allow your customers the ability to view, print, and email itineraries created by your travel agency. This information is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Galileo ViewTrip White Label provides your agency the ability to customize the look-and-feel of your own ViewTrip.com. Increase customer loyalty and brand recognition through the addition of your logo, colors, and marketing messages via a secure administrative site.

With the ViewTrip White Label Administration Site, you can:

• Preview your customized View site. • Modify the agency logo to brand the web site with your corporate logo. • Customize web site colors from a selected color palette. • Add, edit, or delete promotional messages. • Update agency details, such as agency contact information. • Add, edit, or delete advertising links. • Add, edit, or delete web links. • Control itinerary content displayed to customers.

The Galileo ViewTrip White Label Administration tool is only provided in US English. However, the White Label customer site is available in 23 languages. Users can select the language they want to view the site in from the Home page, as per the generic ViewTrip site.

Logging On To log on to the ViewTrip White Label Administration site:

1. In User ID, type the identification provided to you by Galileo.

2. In Password, type the password provided to you by Galileo.

Note: The User ID and password are case sensitive

3. Click Log On to display the Home page. The blue bar at the top of the page indicates that you are logged on to the Administration site.

See Getting Started for more information about using the features available in the Administration site.

Logging On: Forgot Password If you forget your password:

1. On the Log On page, enter your User ID.

2. Click the Forgot Password link. A question displays with the answer field below it.

3. Type the Password Hint Answer that Galileo provided to you when you were provisioned.

Note: The password hint answer is case sensitive.

4. Click the Email Password button. Your password will be emailed to the email address that you entered in the Update Profile page of the Administration site.

Getting Started After you log on, the Home page displays.

On the left side of each page, the navigation menu allows you to access all of the main features of the ViewTrip White Label Administration tool.

From the navigation menu, you can:

Click: To:

Preview Site View your customized ViewTrip site.

Agency Logo Change the logo that displays on your agency site.

Site Colors Customize your agency site colors from a selected color palette.

Promotional Messages

Add, edit, or delete promotional messages for your agency site.

Agency Details Update your agency's contact information that displays to your customers.

Links Manage web links.

Advertising Links Store advertising links that display in your customer's online itinerary.

Itinerary Content Control the type of itinerary (PNR/Booking File) information that displays to your customers.

At any time, you can click one of the following links on the blue bar in the upper right corner of any page.

Click: To:

Home Redisplay the Welcome page.

Update Profile Update your Administrative profile and password.

Log Off Log off from the ViewTrip White Label Administration site.

Profile and Password You can review or update your Administration profile and password at any time. It is important to keep this information up-to-date because Galileo can use this information to contact you if any notifications or support issues arise. The information entered here does not display to customers on your agency's White Label site.

To update your profile:

1. Click the Update Profile link on the blue bar in the upper right corner of any page to display the Update Profile page.

In the Update Profile page, you can add, update, or delete one or more of the profile fields, as desired. Mandatory fields within your profile are noted with a red asterisk (*).

2. In Email Address, highlight the current email address and type your new email address.

Note: This is the email address your password will be sent to if you click the Forgot Password link on the Log On page.

3. In International Dial Code, highlight the current country code and type the new code. The code has a maximum of 10 characters. If you do not enter a country code, the field is blank in the database.

4. In Area Code, highlight the current area code and type the new area code. The code has a maximum of 5 characters and is mandatory.

5. In Phone No, highlight the current phone number and type the new phone number. The phone number has a maximum of 10 characters and is mandatory.

6. In Extension, type your extension if your phone number includes an extension. The extension has a maximum of 10 characters.

7. After you have completed all updates, click Save. The Home page redisplays.

To update your password:

IMPORTANT! Passwords are case-sensitive.

1. In Old Password, type your current password. All passwords display as asterisks (*).

2. In New Password, type your new password. The new password must:

Be 8 to 15 characters.

Include lower case letters, upper case letters, and at least one number.

Be a different password than your last 10 passwords.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the password you choose is secure.

3. In Confirm Password, type your new password again.

4. After you have completed all updates, click Save. The Home page redisplays.

Previewing ViewTrip Web Site The Preview feature allows you to preview the settings that are defined for your Galileo ViewTrip White Label web site. This preview allows you to view your web site as it will be viewed by your customers, including:

Agency logo

Site colors

Promotional messages

Links

Advertising links

Agency details

To preview your web site:

1. Click the Preview Site link in the navigation menu on the left side of the Administration site.

The Preview Sample page displays.

2. Review the changes you made. If all changes are correct, close the preview page.

3. Click Update Site Settings to save your changes and update the ViewTrip web site.

Agency Logos You have the option to change the default Galileo ViewTrip logo to your own agency logo. You can also change back to the default Galileo ViewTrip logo at any time.

Displaying Your Agency Logo By default, the Galileo ViewTrip logo displays on agency web sites. However, you have the option to change this logo to your agency or corporate logo.

All agency logos can have, but do not require:

A maximum file size of 64 KB.

A maximum pixel size of 185 x 50.

Agency logos must be in one of these formats:

JPG

GIF

BMP

PNG

To add or change an agency logo:

1. Click the Agency Logo link in the navigation menu on the left side of the Administration site.

The Agency Logo page displays. In Agency Logo, the current logo for your site displays.

2. In Step 1, click the Browse button to display the Choose File dialog box.

3. Browse to the desired image/logo, and click Open.

4. In Step 1, click the Upload button.

5. In Step 2, click the View Images button to open the Preview Logo page. This page allows you to view how the new image will look on your agency site.

6. Click the Close button to redisplay the Agency Logo page.

7. In Step 3, click the Save button. The Home page redisplays.

8. Click the Preview Site link to confirm that the new logo has been loaded.

9. Click the Update Site Settings button when you are ready to update the site with the new or updated agency logo.

Redisplaying the Default ViewTrip Logo At any time, you can change from an agency logo back to the default Galileo ViewTrip logo.

Note: After you redisplay the default logo, your agency logo will be deleted.

To redisplay the default Galileo ViewTrip logo:

1. Click the Agency Logo link in the navigation menu on the left side of the Administration site.

In Agency Logo, the current logo for your site displays.

2. In Agency Logo, click Use Galileo ViewTrip Logo.

3. Click OK when the following message box displays: Are you sure you want to use the default logo?

4. In Step 3, click Save. The Home page redisplays.

5. Click the Preview Site link to confirm that the new logo has been loaded.

6. Click the Update Site Settings button when you are ready to update the site with the default logo.

Site Colors With the Site Colors feature, you can customize the background and text colors for your ViewTrip White Label web site. Changing colors using the Site Colors feature changes the look and feel of your customized ViewTrip display.

There are 33 options for changing site colors. The following colors keys provide a visual map of each of these options, and their corresponding label:

To change background or text colors for your site:

1. Click the Site Colors link in the navigation menu on the left side of the Administration site. The Site Colors page displays.

2. For each of the text and background colors, you have three options for selecting a color:

ViewTrip Default Option Displays the text or background as the original ViewTrip default.

Use Predefined Color Allows you to display the text or background from a selection of 16 color options.

Click the Select arrow to choose a color.

Specify Color Code Allows you to enter a hexadecimal color code. This method if useful if you know the exact color codes for your agency.

In the Specify Color Code field, type the pound sign (#), followed by the hexadecimal color code. For example: #1F557C, #000000, or #ffffff.

3. Optional. Click the Preview button to view the current colors selected for your web site.

4. To close the Preview window, click the Close box (X) in the top right corner, or click the Close button at the bottom of the window.

5. After you complete all of your color changes, click the Save button.

6. Click the Preview Site link to confirm that the color changes are loaded.

7. Click the Update Site Settings button when you are ready to update the site with the new colors.

Promotional Messages With ViewTrip White Label Administration, you can add, edit, or delete promotional messages for your agency. Two promotional messages can be displayed at one time for each site.

Adding Promotional Messages You can add a new promotional message.

To add a new promotional message:

1. Click the Promotional Messages link in the navigation menu on the left side of the Administration site.

The Promotional Messages page displays. Current promotional messages for your site display on this page.

2. Click the Add New button. The Add Message page displays.

Note: If your site already has two current promotional messages, the Add New button is disabled. You must delete one of the existing messages before adding a new message.

3. In Start Date, click the Calendar icon to select a date for the message to display on your site.

4. In End Date, click the Calendar icon to select an inclusive last date for the message to display on your site.

5. In Title, type a message description, which will display when you view the main Promotional Messages page. The message title can be a maximum of 50 characters.

6. In the text box, type in the message you want to display to your customers. You can work in either the Design tab (default) or the HTML tab.

Notes:

The Design tab allows you to add formatting such as font, font size, bold, color, underline, bullets, and symbols without knowing the HTML code (it converts it to HTML code for you).

The HTML tab allows you to add formatting by typing in HTML code directly.

Information can be added using HTML format if desired by selecting the HTML tab. Galileo is unable to provide specific support for HTML coding and display where HTML has been entered directly using the HTML tab.

Overall, only 255 characters of text are permitted. As you write text in the design tab, HTML text is written in the background. Text written in the Design tab will be shorter than the equivalent text in HTML. So you may have less that 255 characters in Design mode, but receive a character number error because the HTML text exceeds 255 characters.

7. Use the tool bar at the top of the text box to modify the font size, color, and format.

8. Click the Preview button to see a preview of the message.

9. Click the Save button.

10. Click the Preview Site link to confirm that the new promotional message displays.

11. Click the Update Site Settings button when you are ready to update the site.

Editing Promotional Messages You can edit information in an existing promotional message.

To edit an existing promotional message:

1. Click the Promotional Messages link in the navigation menu on the left side of the Administration site.

The Promotional Messages page displays. Current promotional messages for your site display on this page.

2. Click the checkbox to the left of the promotional message you want to edit.

3. Click the Edit link within the Action column.

4. Modify the Start Date, End Date, Title, text in the text box, or formatting using the tool bar.

5. Click the Save button.

6. Click the Preview Site link to confirm that the updated promotional message displays.

7. Click the Update Site Settings button when you are ready to update the site.

Deleting Promotional Messages You can delete promotional messages if you no longer need them, or you want to add a new promotional message, but two promotional messages already exist.

To delete an existing promotional message:

1. Click the Promotional Messages link in the navigation menu on the left side of the Administration site.

The Promotional Messages page displays. Current promotional messages for your site display on this page.

2. Click the checkbox to the left of the promotional message you want to delete.

3. Click the Delete button.

4. Click OK when the following message box displays: Are you sure you want to delete your selection(s)?

5. Click the Preview Site link to confirm that the promotional message is deleted.

6. Click the Update Site Settings button when you are ready to update the site.

Agency Details Use the Agency Details page to add a single set of agency contact information that displays to the right of your agency logo when your customers view your ViewTrip White Label web site.

Note: You can only store one set of contact information for your agency.

Adding Agency Details You can add agency contact information to your site.

To add new agency details:

1. Click the Agency Details link in the navigation menu on the left side of the Administration site.

The Agency Details page displays.

2. In the text box, type in the agency contact information you wish to display to your customers. You can work in either the Design tab (default) or the HTML tab.

Notes:

The Design tab allows you to add formatting such as font, font size, bold, color, underline, bullets, and symbols without knowing the HTML code (it converts it to HTML code for you).

The HTML tab allows you to add formatting by typing in HTML code directly.

Select the HTML tab to add information using HTML format, if desired. Galileo is unable to provide specific support for HTML coding and display where HTML has been entered directly using the HTML tab.

Overall, only 255 characters of text are permitted. As you write text in the design tab, HTML text is written in the background. Text written in the Design tab will be shorter than the equivalent text in HTML. 8. Click the Update Site Settings button when you are ready to update the site.

Editing Agency Details You can edit existing agency contact information.

To edit existing agency details:

1. Click the Agency Details link in the navigation menu on the left side of the Administration site.

The Agency Details page displays.

2. In the text box, select the text you want to change and type over it.

3. Use the tool bar at the top of the text box to modify the font size, color, and format.

4. Click the Sample link if you want to view a sample of your text in both plain (design) text and HTML format.

Note: You can copy the text from the Agency Details output and paste it into the design text area to use as a guide.

5. Click the Preview button to see a preview of the message.

6. Click the Save button.

7. Click the Preview Site link to confirm that the updated agency details display.

8. Click the Update Site Settings button when you are ready to update the site.

Advertising Links With ViewTrip White Label Administration, you can add advertising links. Advertising links, including graphical images, display on the right side of your customer’s Itinerary page. You can use advertising links to offer special deals to attract your customers.

Adding Advertising Links You can add a maximum of two advertising links.

To add a new advertising link:

1. Click the Advertising Links link in the navigation menu on the left side of the Administration site.

The Advertising Links page displays. Current advertising links for your site display on this page.

2. Click the Add New button. The Add/Edit Advertising Links page displays.

Note: If your site already has two current advertising links, the Add New button is disabled. You must delete one of the existing links before adding a new link.

3. In the text box, type in the advertising link you want to display to your customers. You can work in either the Design tab (default) or the HTML tab.

Notes:

4. Use the tool bar at the top of the text box to modify the font size, color, and format.

5. Click the Mountain icon to import an image to accompany your text. The Picture dialog displays.

6. Click Browse to search for the image on your computer or local server or type the location of the image in the Picture Source field. The location must be available on the Internet for the image to display on the ViewTrip site.

7. Click the Preview button to see a preview of the advertising link as your clients will see it.

8. Click the Save button.

9. Click the Preview Site link to confirm that the new advertising link displays.

10. Click the Update Site Settings button when you are ready to update the site.

Editing Advertising Links You can edit existing advertising links within your site.

To edit an advertising link:

1. Click the Advertising Links link in the navigation menu on the left side of the Administration site.

The Advertising Links page displays. Current advertising links for your site display on this page.

2. Click the checkbox to the left of the advertising link you want to edit.

3. Click the Edit link within the Action column.

4. Modify the text in the text box, image, or formatting using the tool bar.

5. Click the Save button.

6. Click the Preview Site link to confirm that the updated advertising link displays.

7. Click the Update Site Settings button when you are ready to update the site.

Deleting Advertising Links You can delete advertising links if you no longer need them, or you want to add a new advertising link, but two links already exist.

To delete an existing advertising link:

1. Click the Advertising Links link in the navigation menu on the left side of the Administration site.

The Advertising Links page displays. Current advertising links for your site display on this page.

2. Click the checkbox to the left of the promotional message you want to delete.

3. Click the Delete button.

4. Click OK when the following message box displays: Are you sure you want to delete the selected Advertising Link(s)?

Links With ViewTrip White Label Administration, you can add links to external web sites that could interest your customers. In addition, there are also default links that your local Galileo office has added. You cannot change the default links, but you can choose whether these links are displayed to the users of your ViewTrip White Label web site.

The web site links are referred to as related links. A set of related links is grouped together under a header link, which does not link to any web site. For example, a header link could be Travel Advice and related links within the Travel Advice header link could be a link to a visa site, a link to the OAG, and a link to a health advice site.

Note: You can add a maximum of two header links with five related links for each header.

Viewing Links You can view the links you have added as well as the default links added by your local Galileo office.

To view your links:

1. Click the Links link in the navigation menu on the left side of the Administration site.

The Links page displays. The top section, Your Links, shows the links you added. The bottom section, Galileo ViewTrip Links, shows links added by your local Galileo office. If you have not added any links, the top section appears blank.

Adding Header Links You can add a maximum of two header links to your ViewTrip White Label web site.

To add a new header link:

1. Click the Links link in the navigation menu on the left side of the Administration site.

The Links page displays and shows the links you added and links added by your local Galileo office. If you have not added any links, the top section appears blank.

2. Click the Add New button. The Add Header page displays.

Note: If your site already has two current header links, the Add New button is disabled. You must delete one of the existing links before adding a new link.

3. In Title, type a title for the header link. The title can be a maximum of 40 characters.

4. In Description, type the description of the header link. The description is limited to a maximum of 80 characters. The description text will display as “hover” text when the user hovers their mouse over the link.

5. Click the Save button.

6. Click the Preview Site link to confirm that the new header link displays.

7. Click the Update Site Settings button when you are ready to update the site.

Editing Header Links You can edit existing header links within your site.

To edit a header link:

1. Click the Links link in the navigation menu on the left side of the Administration site.

The Links page displays and shows the links you added and links added by your local Galileo office. If you have not added any links, the top section appears blank.

2. Click the checkbox to the left of the header link you want to edit.

3. Click the Edit link within the Action column.

4. Modify the text in the Title or Description fields as necessary.

5. Click the Save button.

6. Click the Preview Site link to confirm that the updated header link displays.

7. Click the Update Site Settings button when you are ready to update the site.

Deleting Header Links You can delete header links if you no longer need them, or you want to add a new header link, but two links already exist.

To delete a header link:

1. Click the Links link in the navigation menu on the left side of the Administration site.

The Links page displays and shows the links you added and links added by your local Galileo office. If you have not added any links, the top section appears blank.

2. Click the checkbox to the left of the header link you want to delete.

3. Click the Delete button.

4. Click OK when the following message box displays: Are you sure you want to delete the selected Link(s)?

5. Click the Preview Site link to confirm that the header link is deleted.

6. Click the Update Site Settings button when you are ready to update the site.

Adding Related Links After you have created header links, you can associate a maximum of five related links to each header link.

To add a new related link:

1. Click the Links link in the navigation menu on the left side of the Administration site.

The Links page displays and shows the links you added and links added by your local Galileo office. If you have not added any links, the top section appears blank.

2. Click the checkbox to the left of the header link that requires new related links.

3. Click the Edit link within the Action column.

4. Click the Add Related Link button. The Add Related Links page displays.

5. In URL, type the related link URL.

Note: The URL must be prefixed with http:// or https://

6. In Title, type the hyperlink text of the related link. The title can be a maximum of 40 characters.

7. In Description, type the description of the related link. The description is limited to a maximum of 80 characters.

8. Click the Save button.

The Links page displays. The new related link appears below the header link and can be identified by a green arrow in the Title field.

9. Click the Preview Site link to confirm that the new related link displays.

10. Click the Update Site Settings button when you are ready to update the site.

Editing Related Links You can edit existing related links within your site.

Hiding Galileo ViewTrip Links Your local Galileo office can add links that display on your ViewTrip White Label web site. Although you cannot change these links, you can hide them so they do not display to your customers.

To hide Galileo ViewTrip links:

1. Click the Links link in the navigation menu on the left side of the Administration site.

The Links page displays and shows the links you added and links added by your local Galileo office. If you have not added any links, the top section appears blank.

2. In the Galileo ViewTrip Links section, click the checkbox in the Hide Links column of the link(s) you want to hide.

Note: If you select a header link, all associated related links are also hidden.

3. Click the Update button.

4. Click OK when the following message box displays: Are you sure you want to hide/unhide the selected Link(s)?

5. Click the Preview Site link to confirm that the links are hidden.

6. Click the Update Site Settings button when you are ready to update the site.

Displaying Defaults You can revert to the default links created by your local Galileo office if you choose.

To display your default links:

1. Click the Links link in the navigation menu on the left side of the Administration site.

The Links page displays and shows the links you added and links added by your local Galileo office. If you have not added any links, the top section appears blank.

2. Click the Reset button. The links are reset.

3. Click the Preview Site link to confirm that the links are reset.

4. Click the Update Site Settings button when you are ready to update the site.

Itinerary Content You can choose the elements of the customer's Booking File/PNR that you want to display on your Galileo ViewTrip White Label web site. The default displays the Booking File/PNR elements in your site; however you can override default values and specify the elements you want your customers to see.

To modify the itinerary content display:

1. Click the Itinerary Content link in the navigation menu on the left side of the Administration site.

The Itinerary Content page displays and shows the itinerary elements that currently display.

2. Click the relevant checkboxes to select the elements of the Booking File/PNR that you want to display to your customers. Or, click the Select All checkbox to display all elements.

3. Click the Save button.

4. Click the Update Site Settings button when you are ready to update the site.
