When you think of a derby you think of glitz and glamour, beautiful horses, accomplished riders, and guests dressed to the nines. The Galencia Property South African derby achieved all of these and more.Hosted at the Kyalami Park Club, the 2014 derby – in its 49th year in 2014 – ran from 30 September to 5 October, and included dressage, complete horse, and the all-important FEI Silver Tour World Challenge in the Peter Minnie arena.

SA Home Owner was the only decor and design magazine to be invited to host a stand at the event on the final day, giving derby guests the opportunity to meet some of the team and page through the latest issue.
