We have amulti-purpose fleet of vehicles constantly out on the roads collecting anddelivering propellers, transporting them safely and quickly. We offer thisservice not only to take the worry out of arranging a courier for our clientsbut also so that we have more control over the whole process and knowexactly when your propeller will arrive to be assessed.

Typical overhaul times are 5 days for fixed pitchpropellers; 5-7 days for 2 & 3 blade variable pitchpropellers; 7 - 10 days for 2 & 3 blade variable pitch de/anti-iced propellers and 10 - 15 days for 3 & 4 blade turbine propellers.

We believe it is by providing work of a consistentlyhigh standard that we are not only managing tocapture repeat business from our existing and loyal customer base but are also attracting newcustomers who have heard of our growing reputation in the industry.

Mooney International has unveiled the mockupof the new M10J April 21 at the Sun 'n FunInternational Fly-In and Expo, giving visitors asneak peak and soliciting feedback. On hand ata special press event, and for the balance of theshow, the leaders of the design team askedquestions, obviously curious about what pilotsthink about the seats - comfortable - and layoutof the cockpit interior.

It was designed, explained Mooney VicePresident of Engineering Tony Parker, with sportscars in mind. In fact, the design team includesengineers with experience in that realm. Theplacement of the sidestick control, like the rest of the interior, was carefully measured andthought out.

The composite airframe and Continental dieselpower are departures for Mooney, which hasbeen reborn under Chinese ownership andannounced the M10-series(including the M10Jpowered by the 155-horsepower CD-155, andM10T designed for the training market with aCD-135 producing 135 hp) in China inNovember.

Parker said the proof-of-concept aircraft beingbuilt later this year at the company’s develop-ment facility in Chino, California, will be the firstto fly, and that experience may lead to furtherdesign refinements before the three flight testaircraft are produced in about a year. Thecompany hopes to certify the aircraft in theUnited States first, followed by China, and thenEurope, Parker said. The price remains to bedetermined.

Continental Motors Group, announced in mid-April that they will host the 2015 edition of theEuropean Aviation and Flight School Congress.The congress date moves to late summer andwill take place at the Technik Museum in Speyerfrom August 21 to 22.

For the second time, all members of the flighttraining industry will be able to meet at a centralEuropean location to discuss the challengesposed by European regulations and standards

as well as all the economic aspects impactingtheir business.

The General Aviation Manufacturers Association(GAMA) in mid-April, welcomed the progressachieved by the global general aviation community during the AERO Friedrichshafenevent, toward a more dynamic path to bring newaeroplanes and technologies to market.

Affairs. "These new rules will shift the methods ofdesign compliance from an outdated, prescrip-tive system into standards that are continuallyevolved by the world's aviation experts." EASA hasindicated that this pioneering new structure willbe in place by mid-2016.

Prague Aviation Museum

Prague Aviation Museum, Kbely (LeteckéMuzeum Kbely) and its display of more than 100aircraft will be free for EFA Prague visitors toaccess throughout the event.

The museum contains many Czech-designed &built aircraft dating from World War I through to1960s supersonic jet fighters. Several uniquemodels are on display, including an early 1920s-built Avia BH-11C L-BONK.

In addition to the many military aircraft and heli-copters in the museum’s collection there areseveral Soviet-designed airliners including theAvia 14M (Ilyushin Il-14), an Avia 14T, an ex-CSAIlyushin Il-18and a CSA Tupolev Tu-104. Lightaircraft exhibited include the Czech-built PragaE-114 Air Baby from 1936, a Mraz Sokol, anAero 45, an Orlican L-40 Meta Sokol and a Zlin22 Junak. The museum’s helicopter line-upincludes a HC-2 Heli-Baby designed by VZLU.

NEW AIRCRAFTSWISS ExcellenceAirplanes 300 km/hour in a luxurious ultralight- Risen 300 Ultralight completed

Functional test flights of the new UltralightRISEN produced by Swiss Excellence Airplanes(SEA), a Swiss company domiciled in the Ticinoregion of Switzerland, have been successfullycompleted. The performance of the RISENopens up new avenues for private aviation, bothfor sport and business.

The RISEN is an Ultralight aircraft by category onlyand sharing with the conventional Ultralights, currently on the market, only approval and fuel consumption. The RISEN however, offers space,comfort and luxury in addition to performance characteristics which exceed and are in fact inmanyaspects considerably more superior than general aircraft!

These, in brief, are the credentials of the newestUltralight on the market today. A production RISENultralight aircraft was unveiled to the public for thefirst time at the AERO 2015 in mid-April.

The RISEN, designed by Italian/Argentinian engineer Alberto Porto, is produced and assembledby SWISS EXCELLENCE AIRPLANES (SEA) in theTicino region of Switzerland and thus combinesItalian flair, as far as design features are concerned,together with Swiss precision for manufacturing andassembly of high quality products.

The RISEN is, in reality, more of an aircraft than anUltralight. There is ample space (6 cm morethan normal) on wider than normal comfortableleather seats! The passenger sits next to the pilotand our high resistance plexi-glass single piececanopy offers an unparalleled vision for pilot andpassenger.

Our cutting edge technology offers, as standard, aretractable landing gear, variable pitch propeller,electric computer controlled flaps, electric trim andballistic parachute. In addition the instrumentation is

a digital touch screen and the avionics have the mostadvanced features available on the market today!Autopilot comes as standard and the communication system uses top-of-the range Bosecomponents.

As indicated above the cabin interior and seats are to the highest specification to ensure maximum comfort. The leather upholstery comes in a variety ofcolours and in three different designs. The ‘Race’model leaves the carbon surfaces exposed, the‘Sport’ model has the visible surfaces in aluminiumwhilst the ‘Elegance’ model covers all surfaces withwalnut.

From the above descriptions, it is clearly evident thatthe RISEN targets the very top end of the market andis aimed at the discerning Ultralight pilots who arelooking for an exclusive product, manufactured to thehighest standard and fitted with cutting edge technology whilst flying in a comfort not known up tonow!

From a construction point of view, RISEN is a two-seat low-wing aircraft with a V-tail andmonocoque seamless fuselage design. It’s entirelymade from carbon fibre and its structural sizingis based on JAR-VLA regulations, in fact a superiorstandard than that required of Ultralightaircraft.

The tools used to design the RISEN are tools normally used by the larger aircraft manufacturers.The components therefore give the RISEN theextraordinary reliability and conventional behaviour inall flight conditions! Together with the exceptionalperformance characteristics including a stall indicat-ed speed of less than 55 km/h due to the highly efficient flaps, a take-off/landing area of no more than200 meters, on grass if necessary, gives the RISENadditional benefits over other Ultralights.

The RISEN is equipped with a four-stroke Rotax 912engine, 100 horse power, electric start, knownfor its reliability, and is fitted with standard bladderanti-crash fuel tanks, one per wing. The tankshold a combined total of 85 litres of fuel for a standard operating range of over 1’500 km with areserve of fuel for an additional thirty minutes of flyingtime.

Maryland found in Africa

Significant remains of a Martin Marylandmedium bomber havebeen located in aremote African desertlocation by an Italianacademic team. It hadbeen believed that not one of the 450 Maryland aircraft built hadsurvived. The type saw extensive service in theMediterranean and African wars with the allied airforces, including RAF, French and South African Air Forces.

70 years of exposure to the desert climate has sand-blasted the remains leaving the aircraft difficult toidentify, although initial thoughts are that it was oneused either by the Vichy French or Free French AirForces. Although at a remote location, the remainscould be recovered. It is lacking, tail section, outerwing panels, which may have to be freshly built, theengines and propellers being easier to source.

Electra for Prague

Following its firstpost-restorationflight in March, theLockheed 10AElectra was due tomake the 5,000mile ferry flight toits new European owners in Prague, CzechRepublic during May.

Restored over the last five years, the aircraft is infact “going home”. It was opereated by the Batashoe company in Czechoslovakia in April 1937 until11 Maerch 1939, four days before the German occu-pation. It then flew the company’s general managerfrom Zlin airport to safety in Poland. After flyingthrough different countries it ended up in London asVIP aircraft, before going to Canada in March 1939.From next season it is anticipated that the gleamingElectra will appear at many airshows across Europe.

Aeronica Flies from Sywell

Aeronca 100 madeits first flight on 9 April, followingcompletion of a long-term restoration by Matthew Boddington. The 1937 aircraft is one of only two AeronauticalCorporation of GBR (ACGB) Aeronca 100’s flying inthe UK, all the other “Bathtubs” currently airworthyon these shores originating from the USA.

“Brisfit” Flies in France

Europe has an airworthyHispano-Suizapowered BristolF2B Fighter forthe first time inmore than 80years , following the first flight on French soil of the recently imported aircraft at La Ferte Alaison 5 April.

Based on one of the F2B fuselage frames recoveredfrom Weston-on-the–Green, Oxfordshire, UK in the1960’s. The last time a ‘Brisfit’ flew under thepowewr of a 300hp Hispanbo-Suiza was in 1932,when the Polish Air Force retired the last example of this type.

In mid-April, Mid-Continent Instruments andAvionics today announced that Cirrus Aircraftwill feature the company’s 2-inch MD302Standby Attitude Module (SAM®) on the all-digital Special Edition SR22T Accelero and GTSoption packages for the SR20, SR22 and SR22Taircraft.

SAM is the first digital standby instrument to display attitude, altitude, airspeed, slip, verticaltrend, and heading information in an advanced2-inch format. The standby attitude module is acompact device, specifically designed to fit in

less panel space than a standard set of 2-inchmechanical attitude, altitude and airspeed indicators.

SAM’s unique, high-definition, two-screen display features selectable horizontal and verticalorientation. This allows flexible cockpit installation without extensive rearrangement of equipment or the need for re-certification of relocated avionics. Weighing 1.6 pounds, SAM is lighter than the three mechanical units it isdesigned to replace. SAM is FAA and EASATechnical Standard Order (TSO) certified to C2d,C3e, C4c, C10b, C106, C113a and C179a,including RTCA DO-178B and DO-254 DesignAssurance Level A.

The Special Edition SR22T Accelero is the firstall-digital aircraft in the Cirrus SR-Series, whichalso includes the Cirrus SR20, SR22 and SR22T.Meaning to “accelerate or advance,” the SR22TAccelero was inspired by innovations made inthe Cirrus Vision SF50 Jet program.

The installation is also EASA certifiedby STC#10050861.

MT-Propeller President Gerd Muehlbauer says,this propeller installation is a great improvementto the Beech King Air 300/350 Series. The new5-blade MT-Propellers provide a performanceimprovement of app. 8% in take-off & climb and4-5 kts in cruise on this aircraft type. There areno propeller speed restrictions on ground whileoperating in low idle. The ITTs are lower duringstart-up for less engine wear. Due to the smallerdiameter of the 5-blade construction it has moreground clearance for less FODs.

The MTV-27 Propeller has also bonded on nickelalloy leading edges for superior erosion protec-tion of the blades. Natural composite blades provide best vibration damping characteristicsfor almost vibration free propeller operation anda significant cabin noise reduction. These special blades are repairable in case of a FOD.

NEW AIRCRAFTM600 tops PIPERproduct line- Upgraded turboprop leads new M Class

Piper Meridian plus.

Piper Aircraft upped its game in the single-engine turboprop market on April 13 with theintroduction of the M600, a higher-performingversion of the Meridian. The M600 leads thenew M-class series of airplanes, all based onthe original PA-46 Malibu. The family now alsoincludes the M500—the latest variant of theMeridian, and the M350, an upgraded version of the Mirage piston-powered single.

Using customer and dealer feedback, Piper set outto address the shortcomings of the Meridian, whichdebuted in 1999. While using the same fuselage asthe other PA-46s, the M600 incorporates an all-newwing that allows for an additional 90 gallons of fuel,extending the range from just short of 1,000 nautical miles for the M500 to 1,300 nm withreserves for the M600. In addition, the M600 gets amaximum gross weight increase to 6,000 pounds,a 900-lb boost over the M500. In all, the M600’sstandard useful load jumps to 2,400 lbs comparedto the M500’s 1,698 lbs.

Simon Caldecott, Piper president and CEO, saysthe 700-lb difference allows the PA-46 to move intothe class of a true business airplane because it hasthe payload to accommodate a professional pilot inaddition to a reasonable payload for passengersand bags. With that, he sees new markets openingfor the company.

The announcements involving the new modelscame during a gala event at the Piper factory inVero Beach, Florida, for hundreds of dealers, customers, prospects, and the media. As Caldecottannounced the M600, staff pulled a black drapefrom over a full-scale mockup. As a hangar doornext to Caldecott opened the entire company workforce of 800 stood behind one of the three

M600 test airplanes, clearly proud of the company’s latest addition.

The M600’s improvements in range and payload donot come at a speed penalty. When FAA certification is achieved this fall, the new model isexpected to retain the M500’s maximum cruise of260 knots true airspeed, thanks in part to an additional 100 shaft horsepower from the Pratt &Whitney PT6A-42A engine, the change to a radarpod embedded in the wing leading edge ratherthan an under-wing pod, and other aerodynamiccleanups.

Besides structural changes, the M600 also includesavionics upgrades, such as the Garmin G3000cockpit, the first use of the touchscreen system in a single-engine turboprop. The panel change fromthe Garmin G1000 variants in the other M-class airplanes allowed Piper engineers to further refine the

Underspeed Protection prevents the aircraftfrom stalling by automatically lowering the nose as needed.

An emergency descent mode for the M350 andM600 kicks on when the GFC 700 senses a rise incabin altitude to an unsafe level, leveling off at abreathable altitude. A Level Mode allows the pilot toreturn the airplane to straight and level flight with thetouch of a button. And, especially important forimproving safety during the final critical moments ofa low instrument approach, the ability to fly anautopilot-coupled missed approach. At minimums,the pilot can go around without disconnecting theautopilot, although he must still advance the thrustlever or throttle. The M350 also includes a pulseoximeter built into the panel, allowing the pilot tomonitor his blood oxygen saturation levels andpulse rate.

All of the M-class airplanes receivedinterior refinements, including USBpower ports throughout.

Caldecott expects M600 deliveries to occur beforethe end of the year; the first year’s production isalready spoken for by Piper dealers. The M500 andM350 are available now. Prices range from $1.15million for the 350-hp Lycoming-powered M350 to$2.26 million for the 500-shaft horsepower M500 turboprop to $2.82 million for the M600.

CERTIFICATIONEPIC Targets E1000Certification In 2015

Epic Aircraft is “pushing hard” for certification of its E1000 turboprop by the end of this year,the company said Wednesday. Structural testingis underway, and the first prototype will fly thisspring in the first phase of in-flight testing, Epic said.

There are more than 60 reservations from buyersand the first deliveries are slated for early 2016.The E1000, priced at $2.95 million, will feature sixseats and speeds up to 325 knots. This fall, Epicplans to launch the second phase of flight testingwith the first fully conforming prototype.“Certification requires collaboration across theentire organization and with the FAA.

It is extremely demanding but also rewarding,when you have an aircraft as exciting as theE1000. We are absolutely focused on reaching thefinish line this year,” said Doug King, Epic CEO.

Meanwhile, Epic is preparing a production line at its facility in Bend, Oregon, that will eventually produce one airplane per week. The company also is assembling a customer service program that will include technical andtraining resources, aircraft monitoring systems and authorized regional service centers. “We are setting up the E1000 assembly line and investingheavily in tooling, equipment, quality systems andtraining programs to ensure a timely, efficient andaggressive production ramp,” King said.

The E1000 is based on the 2004 kit turbopropsthat were sold under the original Epic Air, whichclosed down amid legal and financial problems.Former customers took over the operations inBend and moved to a new manufacturing facility.Epic is now owned by Engineering LLC of Russia.

First Piaggio EvoDelivered

PiaggioAerospacehas deliveredthe first Avanti Evo,its third- generationversion of the twin turboprop, to a customer in Greece, the company has announced. The seven-seat airplane, with a VIP interior, will be used for charter.

Piaggio CEO Carlo Logli said the companyexpects to deliver five more of the airplanes bythe end of this year, to customers in the U.S.,Asia, and Europe. The new version was introduced last year, offering extended range,new five-blade Hartzell props, winglets, andredesigned engine nacelles.

The interior also got a makeover and featuresnew VIP leather seats. The aircraft, which sellsfor $7.4 million, uses 40 percent less fuel thanjets in the same class, the company says, andthe powerplants and props also are 68 percentquieter. The Evo can cruise at speeds up to 404 knots and has an IFR range of 1,770 nm.

Dassault saw a second aircraft join the Falcon 8X flighttest campaign as its ultra-long-range trijet continues topass key development milestones. Falcon 8X s/n 02took to the skies from Dassault Aviation’s Bordeaux-Mérignac facility on March 30. After initial checks on thedigital flight controls and engine system, the pilots took

the aircraft to 43,000 ft & Mach 0.8 for performance tests.

Dassault also introduced a new iPad software applicationallowing pilots to access flight documentation on oroffline. Falcon Flight Doc makes it possible to synchronize, download, consult, annotate and share flight documents directly through the DassaultFalconPortal using iPad, and permits flight crews to downloadrelated Falcon Service Advisories (FSAs) and FalconService Newsflashes (FSNs) and save their specific documentation in a dedicated file. MD Helicopters, Inc. confirmed in mid-April thatthe European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA)has approved an increased maximum grossweight of 6,770 pounds for the MD 900/902Explorer. The extra 270 pound payload will allowoperators in all market segments to expand thealready superior mission capabilities of this versatile twin-engine aircraft. The FAA previouslyapproved this increase in March 2013.

Vector Aerospace UK one of the leadingproviders of aviation maintenance, repair andoverhaul (MRO) services, has confirmed thatthey have signed an agreement with AirbusHelicopters that enable its Fleetlands site inGosport to operate as an Airbus HelicoptersService Centre for countries adjoining the NorthSea – the UK, Republic of Ireland , Norway,Denmark, the Netherlands and Belgium.

The agreement covers the maintenance, repair and overhaul services at the organisational and intermediate level of maintenance. This includesmajor inspection of airframe, blades, mechanicalassemblies, hydraulics and APCU of all Super Pumavariants owned by oil and gas operators and lessorsactive within this territory. Vector Aerospace had theopportunity to validate its capability to undertake thiswork when it received its first aircraft, an AirbusHelicopters’ AS332L Super Puma, from VectorAerospace Leasing Services last year.

As parent company UTC prepares Sikorsky forsale, it would appear that they are “tidying up” to ensure a smooth transfer process to a newowner. One part of this has been to sell theirstake in Eclipse Aerospace, a manufacturer ofVLJs (Very Light Jets), which they purchased inFebruary 2011.

At the recent Sun ‘n Fun event in Florida, USAtowards the end of April, Eclipse Aerospace andKestrel Aircraft announced they had merged

under the name One Aviation – Kestrel builds theK350 single engine turboprop. Journalists at theevent reported that part of this transaction sawSikorsky reversing out, and the production ofEclipse 550 fuselages and tails are now beingtaken in-house to Eclipse’s facility in NewMexico, rather than at Sikorsky’s PZL-Mielecplant in Poland.

At the same time the Polish military selected theAirbus H225M over the AgustaWestland AW149and Sikorsky UH-60 as its preferred helicoptergoing forward, and while that is not a final contract, it does cast questions over the future ofSikorsky’s investment in Poland. While the PZL-Mielec plant produces S70i and UH-60M helicopters and some parts, it would be easy tooutsource the parts production elsewhere as ithas with S76 fuselages in the Czech Republicand S92 fuselages in India.

Is PZL-Mielec next on the spring cleaning list?The other aircraft produced at Mielec, principallythe M18 agricultural plane and the 19-seaterM28 Dromader passenger/cargo are peripheralto the American helicopter manufacturer and thisEastern European subsidiary must be high onthe priority for early disposal.

NEW AIRCRAFTTECNAM launches ‘Special MissionPlatform’ aircraft range

Tecnam P2006T SMP.

Tecnam revealed today the first of a wide rangeof Tecnam aircraft models offering the mostcost effective and efficient flying platforms forsurveillance, observation, aerial mapping orspecial mission tasks with the roll-out of theTecnam P2006T SMP (Special MissionsPlatform) aircraft.

Tecnam have set up a new and dedicated‘Special Mission’ department at its Capua, Italyfacility, to direct the design, development andproduction of SMP aircraft and related features.

Depending on the customer’s mission requirement, Tecnam aircraft including theULM/LSA P92 Eaglet, the EASA CS-VLA certifiedP92JS as well as P2006T Twin are all availableto be equipped with specific sensors, radar and cameras or simply provisions to install equipment directly at customer's country/facility.

Many pre-orders are already in place for SMPequipped models, customers are placing greatvalue that as both designers and manufacturersof the aircraft, Tecnam is the able to able to notonly offer a “vertical integration” solutionamongst the many different technological systems currently available, but is able to guarantee the whole system with respect to theaircraft, payload, appropriate fitting of the equipment, certification and validation.

The basic SMP configuration has been devel-oped to be the best platform to work for third

parties sensor integration, giving STC capablecompanies the possibility to work exclusively onlyon sensors integration, on place airframes wheremodifications have already taken place e.g. different holes/apertures are available for all theabove mentioned aircraft as well as mission powering system plugs (28V 40Amp capable).

Unbeatable value, low ownership, operating andmaintenance costs (less than 0.3hr/flight hour)coupled with innovative design and combinedwith the Rotax '912S' engine ensures the TecnamP2006T SMP affords high mission reliability anddispatch as well as lower noise emissions.

With a high payload capacity the Tecnam P2006TSMP may be equipped with a wide range of payload & sensors. This is primarily due to theflexibility of its metallic construction and fullyEASA/FAA validated models, which allows modification(s) on the standard P2006T airframe.

Built to operate in challenging environments andsemi-prepared strips, the Tecnam P2006T SMPbenefits from extremely low take-off and landingruns (235 and 190mt respectively): the high wingkeep the engines completely cleared from dustand any foreign object that could damage thepropellers and the engine through the air intakes.

A spacious interior allows the installation of acomfortable working station and multiple screendesk: two separate doors, one for the pilot(s), the other one for the rear seat passengers or operator. The Tecnam P2006T SMP’s high wingensures access to the cabin is straightforwardand unlike other aircraft, avoids having to jumponto the wings!

The P2006T SMP’s high wing and retractablelanding gear allows for a ‘no view obstruction’ for external cameras and operator FoV (Field ofView). This potentially may make the differencebetween mission success and failure especiallywhen auto-tracking a moving object from highaltitude is performed.

Airbus Helis EC145e Utility.

A new version of the twin-engine EC145 rotorcraft has received its type certificate fromthe European Aviation Safety Agency. TheEC145 (formerly known as EC145e) has beendeveloped by Airbus Helicopters to offer a highly efficient and cost-effective solution forutility users.

Integrating a standardized interior and an equipment list tailored specifically for utility missions, the EC145s payload is increased by146 kg from the previous EC145 utility variant.

“By offering a multi-role helicopter configuredwith a basic cabin layout and mission-tailoredsystems, the EC145 meets the needs of utilityand commercial operators, while being highlycompetitive in price and available with reduceddelivery times,” said Manfred Merk, who is Headof the H145 program at Airbus Helicopters.

With EASA certification the EC145 is approvedfor single-pilot day/night operation in VFR (visualflight rules) conditions. Certification by the U.S.Federal Aviation Administration is expected mid-2015.

East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) celebratesthe arrival of its latest helicopter, the H145 withgrateful thanks to the people of East Angliawhose incredible support makes this possible.Our new aircraft has begun service operation asAnglia Two based at Cambridge Airport and isthe first of its kind to go into service in England.

Andrew Egerton Smith, founder and Chairman ofEAAA said: “The H145 is the next major step inour journey for continuous improvement of pre-hospital emergency care across EastAnglia.” The new helicopter will be able to carryenough fuel to fly for over two hours, with arange of 300 nautical miles (335 miles) and willprovide EAAA with the capability of carrying twoflight crew, three clinicians and a patient. It willalso offer greater cabin space and will allowmore to be done to help the patient during thetransfer process.

Patrick Peal, Chief Executive of EAAA said “Weare indebted to the people of East Anglia fortheir support and encouragement which hasseen us grow from one helicopter one day aweek operation in 2000 to two state of the arthelicopters with a doctor and critical care para-medic crew available every day of the year from07:00 to 01:30.”

SEARCH & RESCUERAF Valley's Sea King helicoptermakes 10,000th rescue THE life-savingbright yellow SeaKing helicoptersreached a mile-stone on the eve ofbeing axed – their10,000th rescue mission.The rescue happened at night in the Ogwen Valley ofSnowdonia towards the end of April, when a youngLondon woman with an ankle injury was winchedaboard and flown to hospital at Bangor. The crew for the history-making rescue was the captain, Flt LtMartin Jarvis, woman co-pilot Flt Lt Kate Simmonds, winchman Sgt Dave Currie and winchman operatorMaster Aircrewman Nick Swanwick.

Back at base they celebrated with “a non-alcoholicbeverage,” said Sgt Currie as the crew went off dutyyesterday (Sunday) at their Valley, Anglesey, base.The Sea King helicopters belong to C Flight of 22Squadron, which has been operating from Valleysince 1955. It’s best known pilot was Prince William,who personally performed many daring rescues, and a number of bravery awards have been won.
